  1. Looks like it based on their test shots.
  2. Technically up to 2000 for a couple models, but correct.
  3. It appears to be the ex Monogram kit based on the wheels/tires, the brush guard, and the wheel flares. However I would also like to see the wheels return from the Yamaha Formula One release of the original Revell kit, as well as the AMT version of the Bronco, since as established the Monogram version has the incorrect engine compartment.
  4. Round2 just posted this on Facebook “BUSTIN’ OUT THE BRONCO AMT 2021 FORD BRONCO 3D PRINTED TOOLING MOCKUP (1:25 SCALE) Coming Spring 2023 will be our all-new 2021 Ford Bronco! This new tooling will allow us to create many types of versions of the new Bronco, with this mockup being a mashup of several optional parts. The initial release will be the Ford Bronco First Edition 2Door 4x4. These detailed Curbside kits were developed in cooperation with Ford and feature a highly-detailed body, interior and chassis, removable hardtop roof and more! This first release will include Sasquatch Package style tires and wheels and a First Edition Graphics decal sheet. Expect to see more versions announced soon! Due Spring 2023. 3D Mockup samples subject to improvements in production. #AMT1343M”
  5. Yeah I’m pretty sure it came out last, it was also rereleased a few times in the late 90s.
  6. Oh yeah I remember seeing that comparison. I was just going off Scalemates that shows the last issue of the long bed as 1989 as well as the monster truck debuting that same year.
  7. If this ends up being true, that would be a shame IMO. Despite the cost/return ratio increasing nowadays, I feel this would be a wasted opportunity to bring a new, better quality, full detail OBS kit to market.
  8. Do you know this for certain about the chassis? The long box kit was last released in 1989, which was the same year the USA-1 kit was introduced, so I feel that the long bed chassis plate was permanently altered for the monster truck version.
  9. Oh yeah, you are correct, I guess I didn't notice that the Ramcharger had a 5-lug version! I wonder why they didn't use those ones in the Bronco kit then?
  10. I always thought it was odd they re-released the stepside a couple times, but not the 454ss. Maybe they somehow lost/damaged the tooling for the engine parts sometime after the first run?
  11. No, the Monogram (now Revell) Bronco and Ramcharger always had 6-lug, 5-spoke wheels. The Bronco also had 5-lug, 8-spoke wheels that it shared with the F-150 Ranger kit. I forgot they were in the Jimmy kit though, so I'm sure that's where they originated since that would be the logical application for them!
  12. I’m torn, the later Mark VII special edition with the body colored bumpers looked wicked, and yet the Mark VIII was just so sleek and classy. Not sure which new tool I would like better!
  13. Ah my old nemesis pairing, 6-lug wheels for a 5-lug truck and blank sidewall Tracker A-Ts!
  14. I did see someone on here make a stock version using the Revell 1992 Cougar kit and a Fox Body Mustang kit.
  15. If they are unable to include the 454 engine, they should just give it the 350 from the monster truck kit and give it Sport or 350 SS decals (and the 454 decals for those who want them).
  16. I was just saying they need to bring back the bass boat kit! Looks like it’s the dual windshield version which originally came with the Ramcharger. Glad to see the Bronco back again as well.
  17. Too bad he didn't get a pic of the front end. I can't tell if the mirrors are the same as in the original kit, but the tires do seem to look more proportional than the original Goodyears. Agreed!
  18. The wheels on the Lindberg kit are correct for a 4x4 with the off-road package, otherwise it would have the wheels from the AMT snap kit. Edit: I cracked open this kit as my next project and I do admire their multi-part approach for a lot of parts to eliminate open voids as well as to give more detail. A couple negatives I found though are they don't have separate differential covers, so there is a seam through them, and the door panels are molded to the interior tub which means minimal detail there (they do have separate grab handles though which helps a bit).
  19. Yeah I have one from 3D model specialties, but I am looking for a TH350.
  20. How about a GM TH350 transmission? I know there are some in 1/24 and 1/25 scale, but there are none in 1/16 and up scales that I can find.
  21. x2, I always clearcoat mine too since if there is any hazing, it eliminates it. On a slightly separate note, with how high the prices are getting on the Duplicolor paint nowadays, it is now getting more cost effective to get the larger cans from a site like automotivetouchup.com, especially since their paint lays on perfectly every time for me and it doesn't get as much, or any, hazing compared to Duplicolor.
  22. Here's my old thread about the 1/12 car kits. Some of the pics aren't showing up anymore, but the info is still usable!
  23. Go to the very bottom of page and click on "theme", what is yours set to?
  24. I find that depending on the product, contacting the person/company that has a similar product is a good place to start since most of the time, they are willing to give it a go to get a sale vs you going elsewhere. It looks like your standard super glue will work for bonding rubber together. You may want to test it on some of the scrap pieces first to make sure it will hold correctly.
  25. You could see if these guys have any decals that would work for you, looks like they have numbers in various styles and colors. http://www.newcenturyhobbies.com/NASCAR_Model_Car_Decals_s/226.htm
