I don't know why I can't build anything small...... Tail light pods. I built one, and then cast the other. The lenses will get a chrome dress ring around them.

Well, my modelers ADD kicked in, and the plastic started to fly. This is a Mack/Superior 100' mid-mount aerial. It is one of three identical trucks ordered by Toronto FD.

Thats not one of my cabs. It is one that was available thru STS, and I think was cast by All Seasons Collectables. Its a copy of the DG Productions 4000 series toy. It has some inaccuracies in the roof, and hood area. Dave

Jerry is correct. There has never been a Loadstar, and AITM has a Fleetstar. Jerry is also correct that I have a Loadstar,and several other IH's in the works. I hope to have more progress on the 9400I this weekend.

I have a couple under cab shots, showing the coil springs that help tilt the cab, if they will help.

Don't forget 1210, 1310, and 1510!!! They all share the same sheet metal! The only difference is capacity. The 1010 is a "light"duty 1/2 ton (torsion bar front suspension), 1110 is a heavy duty 1/2 ton with a solid axle and leaf springs, 1210 is a 3/4 ton, 1310 is a 1 ton, 1510 is a 1&1/2 ton. The 1110 thru 1310 share the same frame, the only difference is the springs and axles. The 1010 has a boxed frame due to the torsion bars, and the 1510 has a frame similar to the lighter trucks, except it is a straight rail behind the cab. Of course, that all went out the window in '74&5!

That one is a Stageway "Airporter". That was shot as it was being picked up from my work after i rewired it and rebuilt the upper firewall and front 12" of the roof. The ambulance conversions were usually done by a division of IH called Springfield Equipment. There were two different raised tops, and several different lengths offered, and the came with a warranty thru the dealer. The first is a standard length, 10" raised top The second is an extended length, and 14" raised top.

Yes, eventualy there will be other hoods mastered to do the complete "i" cab line up. 9200I, 9400I, 9900I, 9900IX, 5900I, etc.

A rescue squad? Just so happen to have 3 different 1:1 rescue/ambulance conversions that I can measure!!!! Yes, I'll be attempting them....

The best starting point would be the 4300 Transtar.

The hope is to cast it. The driveline parts out of a Scout kit will be the basis for the masters
