I'd have to think starting with tires that are already hollow would be the ticket, but which kits have them I can't say. That shouldn't be a problem for other members. I did hollow out a solid tire once to use as a torn tire in a pickup bed. I belive a round bit in the Dremal was how I did it.
It's all been said and I love th eold AMT bescuae it's the first '32 I built .. when it was new. And I'm still building them, as good as the Revell is ... this IS in progress

It's been awhile but the Subaru Willow Green Opal Mica matching her '06 Legacy are on. I did a lot of detail painting because there are so many parts to the suspension! It's not worth taking pics of those but I will do good photos of the chassis before mounting the body. I have a load of sewing pin heads painted and ready to be mounted to the wood. The decals are also about ready for printing.
Welcome Aaron .. and ya .. we put up with a bunch of Aussies here. Lots of great builders down under and will be looking forard to see some of your builds. Ta

That's a great top from that bottle! My thought is to cut thru both while lapped and butt together. Wrap the splice with thin plastic .. or a painted piece from another bottle. The fun part should be drinking the 2nd bottle first .. ehhehe
