  1. It looks better than many barn finds!
  2. I really like the lines on this one!
  3. I think this would be extremely interesting! I personally would like to see how you made the one pictured on the red car.
  4. I've never had the urge to build on of these, but YOUR build make me want to run out and get one!
  5. This is an interesting take on an excellent kit. I've always had problems with the way the Japanese perceive the builders of their kits. The make the most "detailed" looking models from a purely stock build, as if we all are only going to build a "Yamato battleship" as it was on October 12, 1943! No consideration is given to the possibility of someone ... OMG! .. switching engines or frenching the tail lights. This is maybe just a culture thing, but there ARE tuners in Japan now! Please give us a WHOLE car for all that money!
  6. I want to see that jeep V8!
  7. All the lowering work came out looking good! But now, it looks like it wants to be chopped and sectioned. I really suspect it's the camera lens doing it though ...
  8. nice, clean build there. Those are some fat tires!
  9. That's a real looker ..just grabs your eye!
  10. hehe ... you caught me! Who believes any weight story .. but, congratulations on yours.. that's not easy.
  11. I was always 150 lbs all my life until I started modeling again about 10 years ago. I'm still the same except for the spare tire around my waist. Would it go away if I switched to airplanes?
  12. I'm hoping I can tape the hood in place to use as a guide to glue the front fenders on, or more, to attach the piece between the hood and fender to the fender correctly. This piece (79 and 80) does look like it wants to match the front edge of the fender and maybe that's all I need is to align as close as I can by eye. I guess this image says it all for what to shoot for ...
  13. That is SO clean it's sterile! The paint is spectacular .. great build. Almost makes me want to change rides with my G37 ..
  14. The subtle weathering on both is exquisite!
  15. WoW! I can't say enough about how good those look. That's a lot of work fabbing all that. Are the ones in the rocks in a little diorama with the suspension posed. .or does it really articulate? They all look SO good!
  16. no way I'm gonna mock ya on that! Chassis detail is fantastic looking.
  17. His right arm looks a bit dark ... must be the side his Magnifier Lamp is on.
  18. well, someone DID get in and drive it. .but I'd bet a quarter mile is all you get before back troubles set in.
  19. Sounds like it's the US Postal Service you need to get in touch with.
  20. beautiful! your always metal looks so ... metal!
  21. Very good looking truck, especially all the little touches. Some very clean lines on the window trim! The metal on the tailgate is interesting.
  22. Yeah, I did understand you from the start. It just seemed a nice place to reside no matter who owns the land.
  23. Lovely bodywork! ..even though I liked the radius wheel wells.
  24. Looks chopped and sectioned already!
  25. Welcome, Dave. Sounds pretty nice.. retired to a country estate! Looking forward to seeing your return to building.
