  1. I've been eyeing this for years and now you've convinced me to get it. I never imagined it as an engine stand ... good use!
  2. Welcome, Glen, from the Berkshires. I finished one too this year, but it's my first finish in TWO years.
  3. think you get the Golden Lugnut, or nutty lug moniker, or something .
  4. Those PE bolt heads look really good. They seem to have more thickness than the ones I've had. Here's a shot of some Grandt Line studs with nuts on the license plates. for your reference.
  5. I really like the Grantline pieces because they are 3-dimensional. They mount securely with the shaft they come on in a small drilled hole.
  6. Welcome to the forum, Sam.
  7. Welcome, Kevin. We're getting a lot of UK members here and a wonderful addition to vehicle outlook.
  8. no matter the time it too ... this is magnificent!
  9. Sleeper all the way! Great looking build.
  10. I have an entry this year and I'M going to have a hard time picking which to vote on!

Beautiful build! I'm still hoping to complete one I started last millennium when the BMF defeated me at the time. Your build looks spectacular!
  12. I really like how this truck looks. I've been following along and enjoyed your build very much.
  13. I really like your Citation on a Prowler chassis! (I was one the start line thread before here) ))
  14. Welcome to the forum, Nico.

I've given my grandkid one of his Dad's WRX and he was happy, but you little cutie looks absolutely proud of her Dad's work. I'll bet it goes in a special spot .. before becoming play fodder.
  17. Now the None of the Above makes perfect sense.
  18. That seems like a good idea for voting. The concise list with thumbnail will make voting easier once you go thru the main post with the runners.
  19. I couldn't shoot my weapon since it carried a nuclear warhead and was 35' long, but the turbine Power Station running the show had hearing warning stickers all over the back side ... right where I had to store my tools during a countdown. I had a hearing loss on discharge ... but then there was Yes.
  20. This looks like it would work!
  21. The snow is really effective ... especially of a Texas build!
  22. Welcome into the forum. I'm down in Jersey at my son's this Turkey Day for some R n R away from the workbench. As said, there's lots of answers here for anything car related, large or small.
  23. Welcome back to building and to the forum, Chris. I'm a believer in 'models were made to be built', so I would have everything die cast in the purple pond getting paint stripped. I can't but something for exorbitant prices just because someone thinks it's oldness or rarity deserves it. Everything I buy I plan to build, though I may never live that long! Most car model kits are far cheaper than what they're charging for armor or even planes.
  24. Sometimes it's tough to tell what's lighting and whats real. Is it the "shading" on the side that you mean? Could you describe the problem more?
