  1. This is really getting close ... Ricardo send a snap of the body getting fitted with a hood strap to replace the damaged hold down ..
  2. Glad you put this one up! As much as I liked seeing that smooth chop the adaption of the chassis to body was educational.
  3. I have to add ... I've wanted to add that rear to the back of a '49 Mercury I've been working on. Seems like it would be different and also look good. I've looked close at it a few times but haven't hacked it off to do a good fitting yet.
  4. Welcome to Plastics Anonymous!
  5. I love your choice of colors. And choice for next builds especially!
  6. What a great use for that pink monstrosity!
  7. A great looking build .. and I do love the new kit.
  8. Welcome, Tom. I don't usually miss people from close by when they come in, but I'm guilty. Glad you seem to be going thru old posts here and saw my post yoiu commented on. Three is an incredible wealth of information here.. online and in the heads of members. Now, I'd love to see some photos of that green and yellow cab in your thumbnail ... seems like it should be pulling that yellow lowboy you posted.
  9. I'm in Adams all the time. I assume you know of Hobby World in Adams. I sure hope he finds someone to take over his business ... it's such a great hobby shop, especially with us out in the boonies.
  10. There are many beautiful builds here including American, dios and European racers. Frankfurt 2015 - Model Show
  11. Is the grill on the 1:1 similar to one in the kit?
  12. Lenses I used Bondic to cast.
  13. Nice to see one of these built ... looks very good! I have one I got just for the PE logos I needed to make the Infiniti G35 I had. I also couldn't use the decals and spent time and coatings trying to get juse one logo for the steering wheel.
  14. Um ... then why do I still get the page with the given link? Everyone knows it's not getting updated and is "being worked on", but I thought "no longer" meant no longer. What am I missing?
  15. Welcome back to building. For the aftermarket parts look at the Car Aftermarket / Resin Forum. The first thread has links to many parts suppliers.
  16. There are many places you can get it online ... just Google it. I haven't seen it anywhere in a store. When you find it and try, feel free to post your results in my 1001 Uses for Bondic thread.
  17. last time I counted I had about 20 or so working. I go back and forth as the mood strikes me. I did it this was when I was 12 years old and never changed. It's how I love to build.
  18. I like the damage .. will look good with some weathering on it
  19. Fill the mold with water and measure that.
  20. Was a wonderful diorama to look at all the well done detail. Was great therapy I'm sure!
  21. Welcome to the forum, but I like old European cars .. LOL
  22. That has to be among your most beautiful sculptures!
  23. I should have known this one .. I lived next to the NSU factory in 67-68!
  24. I'm going to make it this time! Just a few details to put together for the Ferrari 250 GTO ... a hood strap and a rope to tie the passenger door closed. Taillihhts are fussing and have to figure replacements for the bottom rectangular ones .. maybe some Caddy bullets I have.
  25. Those look very good and clean! Ones I made are raw wood but I would never have found anything either that suited my tools or bench .. good call!
