Welcome to the forum. There is a Questions and Answers topic where your questions will get noticed. I'm still learning to paint .. after 50 years .. so I will leave that to other experts here. Don Yost's video is owned by many here and all will give it good reviews. It IS about using enamel paint, bu tit has much information about prep, finishing and every other phase of painting. Orange peel is my big problem. Most polishing kits use 2400 to 12,000 grit.

I would have suspected it was just out on a job ... delivering pizzas. Probably would have found it sooner if you just calmed and ordered a large pepperoni. I really like the look ... and story behind it.

Thanks, Tom. It's our "never finish" problem that comes across as patience! Now, after being surrounded by all that firepower in your shop, I'm getting the urge to go back on my "big gun" build ... but I just promised to come back to this one ... man, I need to finish something!

That sounds like a pretty good order of things to me. The body is going to be flat black and would be good for that to go after the basic wood color.

Never fear, all my WIP's come back to haunt you! This is still sitting right in front of my face on the bench, but I'm in a mad dash to finish a Cannonball 2015 build before the end of the month .. and really sure I WILL finish! This should return shortly after... been debating in my head whether to do the body paint or the hand painted wood grain first.
