  1. Then there's this one...
  2. Love it! It's starting to look like a sexier version of the Landspeeders from Star Wars.
  3. Still has the 'wrong' engine ( ), but that's easily the best looking SBC I've ever seen in scale. Can't wait to see how this one comes out.
  4. Might be pretty close to calling it done. Not sure yet...
  5. Some more stuff done...
  6. No. Only the small block SS and (I think) the Yenko have buckets. The COPO only has a front bench. EDIT- NEVER MIND! The COPO does still have the buckets, they just aren't mentioned or shown on the box. So I stand corrected there...
  7. Thanks- I'm pleased with how the abandoned convertible came out too. Most of the tedious (foil trim, decals) stuff is done on the yellow '53-
  8. Same here. What's the deal with the 'round' windshield?
  9. Nice job on all of them! Another way to make to improve that Cougar is to add the body colored splash apron to the bumper, like so- Note- I don't want to highjack Al's thread with these pics. I only want to demonstrate one more thing you could do to make the Cougar look more realistic. Keep it about Al's models, thanks!
  10. On the other hand, at least they had the decency airbrush the seams away during that same Photoshop session- at least you'll now you're expecting them.
  11. The tank is weathered and decaled, and the roof rack is permanently in place. Spare tire rack is ready to go. Robbed some decals from an AMT C-600 and Revell '77 GMC. For whatever reason, I feel compelled to add a ton of auxillary lights to this thing. So that's exactly what I'm doing...
  12. I'm currently working on a DR built as a retired County plow truck, I'll see if I can dig it out and post some pics of what's done so far.
  13. Paint and weathering has begun, and the roof rack has been modified to fit the Hudson's roof.
  14. Lovely car apart from that top... Fantastic job on this one, Mark!
  15. Nah... 'wideside' and 'stepside' are the 'generic' terms. Fleetside is a dirty word, even for GM trucks.
  16. Speaking of... let's just say that ICM does something really nutty, and produces a Bulletnose Stude coupe, or maybe (maybe?) a '37 Coupe Express? (I know there are at least two guys on this thread who'd back me up on that last one being a good idea.)
  17. I'll second that.
  18. Yeah- engine mounts like that ALWAYS put up more of a fight than you'd expect. Love the way that front cover came out.
  19. No zombies, thanks. That whole genre is beyond worn out. I'm throwing a 'The Walking Dead is getting canceled' party next weekend.
  20. After a mishap with the body, this one got shelved. But now it's back, and I'm taking it in a slightly different direction. To recap... The completed chassis. The in-progress spares for the roof rack. And the new body... I wasn't fond of the Jimmy Flintstone phantom wagon body when it first came out, but it grew on me the more I saw it so I finally pulled the trigger on one. That roof rack is from the Ecto 1a kit- it'll need to be shortened and have the legs modified to fit better against the roof, but I think it'll work well enough.
  21. Headlights need to come down- this is how they look unmodified, from the kit- Here's a real one- note that the bottom of the headlamp bezels are about even with the bottom of the upper grille panel. And yes, the front axle is also a bit wide (as can be seen in the pic of the model). You might also want to look into changing the side step setup- from what I've seen and have been told, the ladder-type side steps used in the AMT kit weren't very common.
