  1. I thought Learning Curve what RC2 became, shortly before they sold off the AMT/MPC/PL brands to Round 2.
  2. Love it! I've thought of doing an updated Movin' On KW for a while- you did it better justice than I could have.
  3. I really don't see the problem with reissues. I may not buy them all, but apparently others do- otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. I do have to hand it to Round2 for actually doing repair and cleanup of the molds when needed, and giving more than passing thought to the decal sheets, box art, packaging, etc.- that's something that RC2/Learning Curve almost never did. Quality control has gone up by leaps and bounds for the most part since Round 2 stepped in. Sure they'll bring out new and/or significantly revised tools in the future, but in the meantime, I think there's more than enough subject matter already in the hopper (including a bunch of potential reissues of kits which haven't been around in years) to keep them humming along.
  4. We could at least cue the music for ya...
  5. Love it! I'm really glad MK brought this one back out, and I'm hoping it'll return to the AMT lineup again! The windsheild height thing you mentioned brings up my only disappointment with a Model King reissue- remember the Photoshopped box art for the Triumph GT6+?
  6. I'd still like to float the suggestion of making the '71's grille inserts separate- this would open the door for '70 and '72 variants later on. Even if that doesn't happen that won't stop me buying several of these- just saying! I really like the detail in the cargo bed- it looks like you guys put in the effort to make it look authentic. That's an area that most kit manufacturers just sort of gloss over.
  7. Aerostar... AeroStar... maybe that capital S is just enough to let 'em off on a technicality for that one.
  8. That reminds me... I need to send in a subscription!
  9. I was looking for photos of the 1:1 and the results sent me here. This one looks fantastic! I'm thinking of doing one myself, if I can find the right tires for it-
  10. Yeah, that'll work, too.
  11. Consider it done. I've actually met Chris in person at Hulings Hobby House, and one of these days I guess he's going to drag me down to the Toledo show with him.
  12. Looks like it's calling out the features of the Chevrolet kit instead of the Ford.
  13. I'd love to have that kit back as well- it would go pretty nicely with the Lindberg 1:20 Explorer. Just with that Econoline alone I could get used to 1:20- and the Lindberg kits done in that scale were extremely well done, despite the 'weird' scale.
  14. Nice! I have this same kit, and have a similar idea in mind for it.
  15. Not on the box top, but I just got the Revell '69 Camaro Z/28 RS kit (yeah... I actually bought a Camaro kit...), and the car in the photo on the instruction sheet is lowered and has large diameter billet wheels and low profile tires, but the kit is stock-only.
  16. Know what I'm wondering? Could this possibly mean that '64 Plymouth Lawman drag car kit announced four or five years ago might finally see the light of day after all?
  17. Nice!
  18. Lovely little Stude. And I LOVE your screen name!
  19. I still think it needs to be painted some digsusting shade of green or brown. I mean, just pick the most repugnant looking shade from the Dart brochure and let 'er rip! Started another Hudson 308 powered hot rod, this based around a '41 Chevy pickup-
  20. A friend of mine in high school had a 1:1 in a similar color- fill this up with amps, some guitars, and a drum kit and add plain steel wheels and it would look just like that car did mmost of the time.
  21. 9 for fifty bucks? I'd say that's a resounding yes!
  22. Awesome to see the finished project- it's even cooler than I imagined it would be... and I imagined it would be pretty cool to begin with!
  23. I'm going post-apocalyptic with mine. Why? No idea. Just am...

  25. Is that a Beretta?
