  1. Getting better with every new post!
  2. When? When? Whenwhenwhenwhenwhen????
  3. That kit was the Dragon Wagon first, then it was the Hangman, now it's the 'Circus Wagon' which is a reissue of the Dragon Wagon Version. So I guess that one has been re-reverse engineered.
  4. They were. I think they had to make a new mold for the roof on the '72 Blazer. Not sure, but I seem to remember hearing about that somewhere.
  5. This is the junky, 1990-vintage Revell kit, so that means guilt-free chopping and cutting! Basic objective? Put the 'Party' back in 'Communist Party'.
  6. Jon- I have that problem intermittently, but the photos come back after a time (at least for me they have). I used to use Photobucket, never did care for it, and switched to Fotki. Yeah, I know Photobucket (and other sites) are free, but you get what you pay for, right?
  7. None of mine had any excessive flash or bad mold lines, though I have heard the horror tales. I'm not gonna get too worked up over that though- isn't that what sandpaper is for?
  8. Fantastic example there! Those looked an awful lot like dollar store toy cars, too. The Buick did have a usable front clip, but they were pretty hopeless other than that.
  9. Works for me.
  10. That black hearse is worth some big bucks, but you know what? I'm glad you're BUILDING them instead of merely just collecting them.
  11. Sweet! Tub cars usually arent' my thing, but that one NEEDS to be finished.
  12. I can handle 'Dizzy'. But I wince everytime somebody refers to Nitrous as 'Nauss'...
  13. Mine will be- '32 Chevy Panel Delivery Gasser, done up in 'barn find' style AMT '32 Ford three-window coupe conversion '62 Buick Invicta bubbletop '66 Packard Custom Ford Transit And this list may be added/subtracted to at any moment! But these are my long-running, 'wanna get this done but just can't somehow' projects.
  14. No, no, it isn't the 'good' Revell Trabant, but I got a screamin' deal on it, and it'll work just fine for what I've got in mind.
  15. Got me thinking- anyone else notice how similar the AMT and Lindberg '40 Ford coupes appear to be. They are clearly different tools, but a great deal of the parts to one kit will interchange to the other with zero effort.
  16. I know I've got a couple of these stashed, shouldn't be a problem.
  17. I think the version of the Monogram Rommel's Rod out now was reverse engineered from an original kit, as the original tooling was lost/scrapped back in the '70's. It's not a direct duplicate of the original kit, as they decided to tweak the parts fit while they were at it.
  18. General Motors? Ford Motor Company? American Motors Corporation? Buick Motor Division...
  19. Really though- that's just a little over twice what a Chevy Volt would cost, and easily a thousand times cooler, so I guess it comes out in a wash.
  20. Amen, brother. Sheez, I've seen more unsafe second-gen Camaros in my neck of the woods than unsafe rat rods.
  21. Good to hear she's doing better, and phenomenal job on the model. Sounds like she's got pretty good taste in cars.
  22. The one I got was shrunken just a bit. Only 'bad' piece I've ever gotten from JF, though.
  23. Well c'mon... that car was just meant for a fake wind up key!
  24. Ditto. As long as it is NOT paint or bodywork you want me to do!
