  1. Mine will be- '32 Chevy Panel Delivery Gasser, done up in 'barn find' style AMT '32 Ford three-window coupe conversion '62 Buick Invicta bubbletop '66 Packard Custom Ford Transit And this list may be added/subtracted to at any moment! But these are my long-running, 'wanna get this done but just can't somehow' projects.
  2. No, no, it isn't the 'good' Revell Trabant, but I got a screamin' deal on it, and it'll work just fine for what I've got in mind.
  3. Got me thinking- anyone else notice how similar the AMT and Lindberg '40 Ford coupes appear to be. They are clearly different tools, but a great deal of the parts to one kit will interchange to the other with zero effort.
  4. I know I've got a couple of these stashed, shouldn't be a problem.
  5. I think the version of the Monogram Rommel's Rod out now was reverse engineered from an original kit, as the original tooling was lost/scrapped back in the '70's. It's not a direct duplicate of the original kit, as they decided to tweak the parts fit while they were at it.
  6. General Motors? Ford Motor Company? American Motors Corporation? Buick Motor Division...
  7. Really though- that's just a little over twice what a Chevy Volt would cost, and easily a thousand times cooler, so I guess it comes out in a wash.
  8. Amen, brother. Sheez, I've seen more unsafe second-gen Camaros in my neck of the woods than unsafe rat rods.
  9. Good to hear she's doing better, and phenomenal job on the model. Sounds like she's got pretty good taste in cars.
  10. The one I got was shrunken just a bit. Only 'bad' piece I've ever gotten from JF, though.
  11. Well c'mon... that car was just meant for a fake wind up key!
  12. Ditto. As long as it is NOT paint or bodywork you want me to do!
  13. Nice. Normally unchopped phonebooth T's look weird as hot rods and drag cars, but that one looks cool.
  14. As a kid, I always wanted a Delorean. Then, when I got older, I found out they didn't REALLY leave flaming tire tracks....
  15. I might be interested, if you still have a line on it.
  16. Remember those fake wind-up keys they sold in JC Whitney catalogs? If ever a car were MADE to sport one of those...
  17. I did look at a resin '69 Marauder once, which I was told was done by Frontier. Body was inconsistent in thickness and looked a tad 'lumpy' in spots. Think along the lines of a recent R&R casting.
  18. Have you considered sending a PM to the guys involved with the project? Maybe they just haven't noticed the recent activity on the thread. A few of them may have given up on it, maybe letting them know its finally out of project purgatory will re-light the fire.
  19. Cool! I've already got some medical tape laying around- might have to give it a try. Thanks.
  20. What did he say, Rob? I blocked him.
  21. What I really can't stand is when that type of 'engineering' (if you can call it that) is glorified, which it is in some circles. I don't care how shiny or shabby it looks. If it isn't safe, it should not be used on public roads. I don't want to drive it, and I certainly don't want to share the road with it.
  22. All that's missing is a scrunchie on the shift knob.
  23. I'll take your word for it. Haven't poked around in a Badman kit in years. Still, it was pretty realistic compared to, say, the Dragon Wagon or the Horn Toad! (By the way, I wouldn't mind seeing the Horn Toad reissued...)
  24. Here are a few I could re-ignite- Esci Ford Transit- haven't touched it in just a tad over a year. AMT Deuce 3-window conversion (started by someone else, re-started by me) haven't touched it in a year and a half. '62 Buick on shortened wheelbase with a Chevy bubble top. OR...???? '66 Packard mild custom?
