  1. Good to see the Lincoln V12 going to good use! And it looks like you're going to beat me to building my Renault Vivastella hot rod!
  2. I don't know- that Metro of yours can take quite a beating!
  3. Now that I think of it- I don't think I've ever owned a 'real' car!
  4. Yeah- she's been roughed up a bit!
  5. Maybe. But you're in good company!
  6. Looking good- I think this is the first one of these I've ever seen going together!
  7. Very cool- there was a beat up green Nova in Hot Rod a few years back that was quite similar to this- rough outside, but packing an overbuilt BBC under the hood! Sweet, indeed.
  8. Forgotten? I've got at least one each of those in my stash! (Well, except the Revell '55 Chevy Convert and the '67 Vettes.) Want some forgotten kits? I've got a few! Renwal '66 Packard Heller Citroen Trefle Heller Renault Vivastella Or, my favorite of the bunch... Esci's Ford Transit Of the above, probably only the Transit has any shot at being finished by the end of '10 because it's a pretty simple curbside, but who knows? Maybe I'll jump in on this one.
  9. Some of my personal faves...(What? Like I can only choose one?)
  10. Seth Rogan... then they could use the same figure for the Buick from Zack and Miri... or the Daewoo from Pineapple Express!
  11. I've got every Megadeth song ever recorded on my computer, and quite a few other complete albums and individual songs- right now I'm playing Gordon Lightfoot's "Gord's Gold". An hour from now, it might be Slayer or Bob Dylan- just kind of depends on what mood I'm in. Sheesh- I've even got a Lady Gaga song or two on there! (Mmmmmmm... meat dress... )
  12. Sigh... you've always got to one up me! Although... yeah, I'd get the Duel 'Combo Pack', too! Truth be told- I'm a little surprised no one has ever kitted the truck from Duel, it would be a cool subject even beyond the movie truck. Then again... what about a kit of "The Car", complete with a James Brolin figure?
  13. Great reference for that new Time Machine SSII Trankit I have ordered!
  14. Dude... find one and D-O I-T!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I hope Moebius sells lots and lots and lots of those new Chrysler, Hudson, and Lonestar kits. Why? Because I think I know a subject that would be perfect for Moebius... the Green Hornet Black Beauty! Make it a 2-in-1, build it as the TV (and upcoming movie car, hint-hint) or as a stock '66 Imp! If the new Moebius car kits are a sucess, hey, who says it couldn't happen? I don't know about you, but I'd buy at LEAST five or six of them!
  16. Perhaps this... in these PC, sensitive times, should we still be referring to these cars as 'Midgets'?
  17. It's worth about $180 as scrap... hollah!!!! Christian- Are those last two hearses Daimlers?
  18. Great Kustom, and a good name! Not so much for the color, but because I had a girlfriend named Amber, and she demanded to be treated like a queen!
  19. Half-hearted diecast tooling or not, I'd have still liked one. I'm surprised no one does a Cutlass transkit for the Monogram GN or AMT/MPC Monte Carlo.
  20. Only hassle the Ithaca cops will give you is for having a loud exhaust on your car... even though all those guys ride Harleys (their own personal bikes, not police issue) with pipes that could wake the dead.
  21. Just got this '89 Ranger for free. I think I got screwed!
  22. You thought I forgot all about it didn't you? Well, for a while, I did... Last night, I fogged it with some metallic blue, just to see how it would look, and adressed the wheelbase situation- I had to move the Revell rear axle ahead quite a bit to line everything up. Who knows... maybe it'll sit another two months or so for no good reason.
  23. Update! Reposted the pictures so they actually show up again!
  24. Always, always, ALWAYS love to se the model Junkyard stuff! Keep it coming!
