  1. Gorgeous build. Wire wheels, red paint, engine detailing, all outstanding.
  2. Very well done build. The color looks good, and the stance is perfect.
  3. I like it. Too bad about the issues with the kit, but you stuck with it and it turned out good. Well done.
  4. Larry, Bill, Steve, Louis, Oliver and Bob, thank you all for the kind words.
  5. Oh man Claude, I am diggin' this concept. Beautiful execution, outstanding details, it truly looks like a factory concept. ??
  6. Some excellent tips in this thread. Thanks to those who contributed. As someone who, in the last couple of years, has developed pretty serious arthritis in both hands, some of these tips very well might help me continue to wire my engines.
  7. Very nice build. Interesting color combo and your technique to paint it. It definitely works. Well done interior.
  8. Very nice Monaco. I like the blue color and very neat and clean build.
  9. Another 50's car I always liked. My older brother had one way back when in this very color combo. Very well done build, excellent interior. Beautiful group photos of Five-Sevens too.
  10. Donato, Glen, Hanjo, Chris, Andreas, Jeff, James, Lee, David, Steve, Terry, Mario and Harry, thank you all for the kind compliments. I always liked these cars even though they took a lot of criticism on the styling.
  11. Thank you Mathias and Garry.
  12. I built this a couple of years ago. I believe it's the first issue of this kit since it was in my stash for quite a while. It's painted in Testors enamel light sky blue (flat) in the 1/4 oz. bottle, and the darker blue is Testors enamel Blue Angles Blue. I cleared it with Testors Boyds enamel clear and looking at the chassis photo, you can see the difference between the color shift on the body and the uncleared section of over spray on the frame. I wanted to give it a bit of a low rider stance, so I swapped out the wheels and tires from one of the Revell Tuner cars that I'd been saving for a while. Most of those kits Revell put out had more than one set of wheels included. This is a very well detailed kit, with one of the nicest frame/chassis and engines I've ever worked on. It took a bunch of bare metal foil. I even managed to foil the "Edsel" lettering on the rear body area without mucking up the paint.
  13. Excellent weathering, very realistic. Well done.
  14. Outstanding. I like that display.
  15. Looks great in black with the white interior. A great way to honor your sister.
  16. Very nice build. Great color, wheels look very well done, excellent engine and great job on the wheel wells.
  17. Louis, you continue to amaze with the quality and detail of your builds. Stunning replica.
  18. Now that's cool. I don't know much about Pokemon, but I do know it's hugely popular. I have several fantasy type resin figures from many years ago but I've never had the nerve to try to paint them. Well done Michelle.
  19. Nice '40, excellent save.
  20. I like it, especially the color, and I like your desire to do something different.
  21. Very cool build. I like the weathering.
  22. Very nice.
  23. Well done, nice color combo, excellent detailing.
  24. Nice build. I like that color.
  25. Great job on the Cadillac, looks very good. I particularly like the black wheels. You've got a good collection of muscle cars going.
