  1. Beautiful Ferrari. These cars do look good in red. And as always, your photo background is outstanding.
  2. Beautiful 71 Demon, just got two kits last week for future builds. I like the color you chose, and I agree with David, yours looks great without the hood decal.
  3. Very well done Dueces, great colors, nicely detailed.
  4. Excellent work. Keep at it you're doing great. Very nice duo.
  5. Robert, Michelle, James, Eric, Jeff, Tom, David, and Garry thank you all for the compliments.
  6. Thank you. The convertible boot comes in the kit.
  7. Lacquers and enamels mostly. Like so many old timers, I've been using Testors enamels forever and still do from time to time. I started using lacquers in a big way about 10 or 12 years ago. For Kustom colors (candies, flakes and pearls) I use House of Kolor. I use a lot of the Tamiya synthetic lacquers, and Testors Model Master Lacquers, which unfortunately are disappearing or have completely disappeared. Tamiya lacquers spray so nicely right from the can, I rarely airbrush them. I also use Dupli-Color lacquers and primers. And from time to time I'll use Mr. Color lacquers as well. I like to experiment with different paint lines and find what works.
  8. Yup, it's that GTO convertible kit. The tried and true AMT kit, warts and all. Not a lot of detail in these kits, but they make ok shelf models. I've built 4 or 5 in different colors. This one was sprayed in Testors Enamel Blue Angels Blue # tes1772, FS 15050. Over coated with Testors Boyds Enamel High Gloss Clear. I believe both of these paints got the axe in one of the Model Master purges. I added a little detail in the engine compartment. Truthfully, there isn't much that can be done with this kit without major parts swapping from other kits. The interior was sprayed with an older can of Plasti-Kote metallic red, number and name unknown.
  9. Very well done. If you hadn't told us it's a snap kit, I never would have figured. Some snap kits are very well detailed. Your detailing efforts look really good. I particularly like the wheels.
  10. Very well done Shelby, and that's not an easy kit to build. I really like your use of various other parts and your painting technique is interesting and something I need to try one of these days.
  11. Fine looking Buick you got there. Very well done and excellent color choice.
  12. Very nice. Determination wins the day.
  13. Not something we see every day. I like it, and your build is very well done.

Looks great, the red color and interior detailing are really nice.
  15. Very nice, looks really good in yellow.
  16. Very well done convertible. Nice save, beautiful paint, interior and stance.
  17. Excellent build, nicely done.
  18. Looks darned good to me. Shortcomings? None that I can see. Well done.
  19. Outstanding 4-4-2. I always liked these cars. Your refresh came out excellent. Very nice color, your work on the finish is really well done. I commend you for disassembling the build and moving forward with a refresh.
  20. That is so cool, and so period perfect. Your underside detailing is superb, love those cherry bomb glasspak mufflers. But that engine and engine compartment are beautiful. Outstanding mods all around.
  21. I've heard good things about Createx products, both paint and clear coat. Odorless thinner I've never used. I'm not familiar with those chemicals in it but I'm sure someone with greater knowledge will hopefully chime in. If you can't locate a catalyst/hardener locally, you should be able to order it online at any number of vendors. It's great stuff if you like to use enamels.
  22. Very nice build. I really like the color and your detailing is excellent. Great use of disparate parts too. Well done engine compartment.
  23. Stunning color, very well done. With a little work, most snap kits can make great looking models just like you've done.
  24. Gorgeous.
  25. Very nice build David. I like the plain Jane look and the six banger looks great. Well done.
