  1. You are the man. Awesome build, fabulous detail, and I love that color.
  2. I'm with Snake. I'm thoroughly confused as to what you're asking. On the other hand, it isn't difficult at all to confuse me.
  3. I love these older Novas, great build, looks very realistic, superb workmanship.
  4. Another vote for Revell's customer service. Outstanding in my opinion. A few months back I purchased one of their new, simplified assembly pre-painted ZL1 Camaros. Inside the box, it had the wrong chassis. One email to Revell, they simply said " We're sorry the wrong chassis was inserted in your kit. We'll fix that straight away". A week or so later, the correct chassis was in my hands no questions asked. That's what I call customer service. I've had no experience with Round 2's customer service however.
  5. Hear! Hear! Thanks for posting all those cool old kits Greg. Funny thing is, I remember all of them, and in fact "built" quite a few during the golden days of my youth.
  6. Now there's something you don't see every day. A pro street Holden. Very impressive build.
  7. Wow, what an excellent build. Very well done and excellent photography.
  8. That's a great looking build Jonathan. I really like that deep blue paint. Well done.
  9. I would guess the answer would depend on what make of airbrush you intend to use.
  10. That's awesome Ron. What a great way to honor someone that means so much to you.
  11. Very good tip, I'll certainly find this technique useful for the next Impala I build.
  12. Very nice, I love the sepia toned image as well.
  13. I used to go to that Hobbytown as well, mostly for the paint, which they always seemed to have a good stock. Otherwise, there wasn't much and like others have said, in the last year the plastic section seemed to get smaller and smaller. When I lived in Rock Hill I used to go to Hobby Stop regularly. However, their prices seem inflated for kits ($30.00 for a snap kit seems a bit high to me) and they don't keep their Tamiya paints as well stocked as Hobbytown used to. I do most of my ordering online now anyway.
  14. I'm looking forward to the C7 Corvette and the Challenger. I can't wait to see what type of custom paint and wheels Chip might choose for those two kits.
  15. Love the blend of old school and new school, gotta love a deuce. Great stance as well.
  16. That's very cool, I really like the color and the wheels, great build.
  17. Way cool build, and the natural lighting for your photography looks superb.
  18. Wow, beautiful build.
  19. Very nice build of a classic automobile.
  20. Hugh, to answer your question about shelf life, I've been using the same bottles of two part epoxy for about 6 years. Never had any issue with shelf life, at least so far. The bottles last a long time and in my opinion are infinitely better than tubes.
  21. I also purchased a Pace Peacekeeper Deluxe paint booth a couple years ago. It's worth every penny. Using a proper exhaust out a nearby window you can literally paint all year long.
  22. Other than what others have already written, I can't think of anything else to add except that it's a beautiful build and the color combo really works. I sure wish that Round 2 could reissue some of these old 3 in 1 kits. Exceptional build superb quality.
  23. Now that's a story that gave me a good laugh.
  24. I kind of figured that. Apparently, not every Ollie's carries the same items.
