  1. Very nice build of a classic automobile.
  2. Hugh, to answer your question about shelf life, I've been using the same bottles of two part epoxy for about 6 years. Never had any issue with shelf life, at least so far. The bottles last a long time and in my opinion are infinitely better than tubes.
  3. I also purchased a Pace Peacekeeper Deluxe paint booth a couple years ago. It's worth every penny. Using a proper exhaust out a nearby window you can literally paint all year long.
  4. Other than what others have already written, I can't think of anything else to add except that it's a beautiful build and the color combo really works. I sure wish that Round 2 could reissue some of these old 3 in 1 kits. Exceptional build superb quality.
  5. Now that's a story that gave me a good laugh.
  6. I kind of figured that. Apparently, not every Ollie's carries the same items.
  7. Now that's true craftsmanship, very nice.
  8. I went to my local Ollie's this morning. All they carry is Krylon Velvet. First time I've ever seen that paint. It would have been nice to obtain some Plasti Kote since I haven't seen any in several years in my area.
  9. Absolutely beautiful build. What a great save.
  10. I think every other can of Testors sprays are bad. The paint itself is great, but if I buy any Testors spray cans these days it's only to decant and airbrush. I've never understood why they don't correct these issues with their spray cans or come up with a better nozzle. On the other hand, I've never had an issue with any Tamiya spray can or nozzle.
  11. Yer killing me here, man. Positively gorgeous.
  12. Wow. Only word I can think of to describe my reaction. Beautiful build. Looks very realistic.
  13. Nice. Looks good in black. I had the same issue with the hood on the two I've built.
  14. Great color choice by your wife and very nice custom work you've done.
  15. Like the others said, very nice builds. The blue on the 36 Ford is stunning, very vibrant color.
  16. Fascinating work John. I'm amazed how much you've done in a only a few days. I'm old enough to remember reading the original article on this model back in 1965.
  17. I like it, very cool build.
  18. Great build, very cool interpretation of a classic car. That Royal Blue with Tan interior looks perfect.
  19. I love that color. Very nice build.
  20. Very nice build Bruce. I think you achieved the understated color you were looking for and I like the white walls too.
  21. Great story. I truly enjoyed reading this.
  22. I love these stories about the "old" days of our hobby. Fascinating reading, thanks for sharing.
  23. Odd that yesterday when I posted my response, only the first picture of the box showed up. The other two photos weren't showing. Body molding looks pretty good though, thanks for posting these images.
  24. Wouldn't that be cool if they actually reissued these. I imagine they're fairly simple kits, although I've never actually seen the contents of one of these kits. I ordered a brand new 1975 Chevy Nova SS 350 (same basic car) way back then. First new car I ever owned.
