  3. Very nice factory stock build, beautiful color.
  4. Nice, clean build. You can't go wrong with red on a Ferrari. I really like your backgrounds, particularly the night time photography, very well done.
  5. Radical. Love it, great custom work. Colors look super, especially like the orange.
  6. That's beautiful. I really like the colors you chose and great details.

  9. Great save on a rare item.
  10. Very nice color, great build, engine compartment looks realistic. Gotta love what Round 2 is doing these days.
  11. Nice, very nice build. I like the details and really like your photography and backgrounds.
  12. I would advise painting in a well ventilated area for sure. Additionally, wear a mask, always. I use a 3M paint mask with filters that can be changed when necessary. Below is a mask very similar to what I use. The foil is by a company called Bare Metal Foil. It should be available everywhere, local hobby shops, online hobby shops, etc.
  13. Thanks David.
  14. Thank you Donato, appreciate it.
  15. Thank you Michelle.
  16. Thanks Alex.
  17. I completely agree with what Steve's written. Both these in-progress kits were painted using a very similar technique to what he's described. I would add that patience is the key to a good quality paint job. Don't rush it, take your time with each step. The candy blue Camaro has 4 coats of two different blue colors, plus 3 coats of clear. You can just see inside the Camaro that the original color of the plastic is red. The candy red 57 Chevy has a similar amount of clear red over a gold base and 3 coats of clear. The paints and clear coats are lacquers as well.
  18. This is a very nice kit. I've built several of them. Goes together nicely with no major issues. I sprayed the body with House of Kolor Euro Red. Once cured, I masked off the side strip and shot the full length in House of Kolor Silver Pearl. Next I fogged in House of Kolor True Blue Pearl, and lastly, House of Kolor Purple Pearl. I used several coats of House of Kolor Klear and polished the finish. Wheels, tires and disc brakes are by Pegasus.
  19. That color really pops. I like the black motor. Sweet build Bob.
  20. That's one mean looking Ford. Very cool build. Great job Phil.
  21. Your weathering is incredible. I've never been able to weather like that and I admire the work that went into it. Very realistic.
  22. Thanks Jeff. I had a buddy that owned a 67 Tempest. Very nice car, drove well. He swapped in a 389 from a wrecked GTO.
  23. Thanks Carl.
  24. I love shoebox Fords and lead sleds. What a great way to honor your friendship. Great build, great car your friend has too.
