  1. Finally got back to some serious building this past fall after a year and a half hiatus and managed to finish a few. This one is an old T520 kit built mostly out of box, changed to single exhaust, Double Take Replicas grill and cabin fans and a couple scratchbuilt items. Trailer is the repopped Fruehauf van with resin reefer and fuel tank.
  2. I like to do the same thing on mine, unless I can round up a set from a snap Pete or KW. I just like the look of the open horns better. Using the inner tube for the fender flares was a great idea. I've tried shaping plastic but never quite liked the way they turned out. Will definitely have to try that method.
  3. Those are some nice looking trucks. It's amazing what ideas people come up with for those snap kits. I don't think I'd want to drive either one of those 2 around NYC though!
  4. Now that is one nice Freightliner! Like to see the rest of it!
  5. Excellent work on this A car! Butterfly hood and drilled out horns are a nice touch.

  7. That is very nice! I always wanted to build that truck but the copy of "In Tandem" I have is so grainy I can't make out most of the details. This one is really cool!
