I use the 'two AMT Thunderbird chassis' method. Easy and quick. I bought a bag full of AMT 90's era parts for $5 and that supplied a lot!

Give it a try. My manual says get as close to empty for first tank.

My F-150 will run on pure gas all the way to 100% methanol. But no one sells it in my region. My son has used it, he's in KY. MPG goes down because it does not have the BTU's gasoline has. Also you may need to put your foot in it to get the same power.....making MPG even lower. But if the methanol is cheap enough it may work for you.

Much of the rumors ans speculation are due to 'know it alls' that want their 'five minutes'. But again this morning watching KTLA they bring on a guy that claims many years of independent investigations and lays out the crash in his opinion. Maybe some blame needs to go to the media??? The guy was logical, seems intelligent and knowledgeable and showed site footage......so I understand why an average person would take it as gospel. It's not just the guy on the street making things up.

My info came from KTLA which I hoped would not be to inaccurate. They did show a large debris field which is why I accepted their high speed claim. I will say the worst fog I have ever been in was in So Cal growing up. It was so thick we could not see the hood of our car....like driving in milk. We walked home and Dad went back later and got the car after it lifted.

It sure looks like it. Add to it the last AMT 935 kit I bought had a sticker applied to the box that said 'parts made in Italy'. It's a simple kit, almost curbside with the engine just 3 parts. But builds quick and looks good.......to me!

Were do you find Italeri kits in US?? A few I'd like....

So if Bandito is not going to happen, add the fire engine parts and reissue it as Firebomb.....that was not a TD design but a Monogram redesign.
