  1. I fully understood. China is big....got it. The WORKERS I dealt with were hard working folks that did as we asked and did good work. The Govmt is a totally different thing. I'll end with that....read China's 100 year marathon if you want more info.
  2. I'll build something new....always looking for an excuse!!!!! For inspiration...past build......Mad Max Fury Road.....
  3. I've worked with the vendor in China and understand.....but I am not trusting the Chinese Govmt right now. Per reports many workers are being forced back to work.......It's nothing like the US.
  4. Hmmmmm....new Chevy II wagon die cast in 64TH.....A hint of plastic 25TH???? Good news China is back working.....but reports on media say different???
  5. Hope the hardtop sows up at some point....not a conv fan....
  6. It ain't the PB but a box stock KW snapper build that may give you an idea what a box stock build. I like these kits
  7. Looks like it may be a good start to a better version of this car.......
  8. Thanks Sir!!! That was my first model painted with Dupli-color automotive lacquer.
  9. I'd take a few more Satellites.........
  10. Correct......I should have remembered......a good buddy bought the first one the dealer got......after it was about 5 years old it suffered many issues......both door handles broke......they were up in a B pillar IIRC.
  11. The 89 Thunderbird, Cougar and GP are all Revell 1/25 scale as the Monogram kits were 1/24. Bob had his hands in all of them. I built a 89 Cougar IMSA version from a test shot, as Bob wanted a to pitch it as a kit. Bob and Gary Schmidt at Hot Rod National model contest photo the Cougar. Needless to say the project never made it.....it was to be a long line of other road race cars. Oh well....
  12. Even the dogs, Chevy Citation, build well without issues and look like the real car. Many of the kits of that era are designed by Bob Johnson. I got to see first hand his process when he did the design work for a car that a friend owned. I have a few of his drawings. One from that era....
  13. 2nd version later in the year........If it sold 3K kits I'd be OK!
  14. Kinda standard marketing today. Run a batch of 5k.......if it sells out fast run another 3K. If it sells slow one run and done. New box and decals 4 years later. A tool that is intact and good condition will never go away.
  15. I understand it will include a optional hot rod version too. Due April 1 2020.......
  16. Great kit....but I picked up that last issue at Odd Lots for $15.....so at $72....
  17. Last photo that rear fastnack is a Torino......
  18. I'm missing the Mustang???
  19. Showing your age AND the knack of the obscure!!! Now do you remember the Motts 24 Hour train race feature??? Back OT
  20. Love that Bird....may have to build!!
  21. Dallas Tx has given the OK for up to 5K delivery vehicles that have no driver at all. They are limited to 35 mph and in theory will be used for local runs only. We'll see.....
  22. Testors Bug Yellow...not sure they still make it. Thanks
  23. The AMT 350Z can be hard to track down.....and it is far from movie correct. I like movie cars so I have all the kits....and there are a few that I'd like to see as kits. Tokyo Drift was the last FnF movie that was 'CAR' based.....after that they became car stunt movies. I'll buy the FnF Plymouth.....
  24. I need an Aztek for a Breaking Bad model!!!
  25. Slick as always.........would you build just one crappy model to make the rest of us feel better????
