  1. Anyone having one of the awful SN95 Tamiya kits can send it to me for disposal......I owned a 1/1 and would love a few of the kits....warts and all!
  2. And IIRC that Lindberg kit is 1/18 scale and curbside. Add bad body shape and it's in the bottom 10 for sure.
  3. That is a really odd collection of kits. None of them in the Top 10 best ever list for me. To each his own! Thanks for posting
  4. Tamiya will sell a ton of these kits. I'd like a model engine in the kit........I am ordering 2 of the kits....may never get to building them....hope to....but I have 5K others in line in front of them. Owning these two Mustangs may make me bias.......
  5. Peter pretty much has it covered.....and said it better than I can!
  6. CorelDraw since V8..... You may want to ;learn to modify fonts. Find a font that is close and convert to curves......this will allow you to edit the font itself. As you do this keep a back up of all work so you can go back. Every time I make new edits I duplicate the art and edit it.....when all done I can delete the dups I do not need. Good luck.....if you have Q's ...ask!
  7. That's kinda mixed bag. Some details look fantastic. And if the kit fits as well as their DTM Alfa then a great kit. But the semi-curbside thing is odd. 10 more parts and a lift off hood/fender unit and it would equal the DTM kits. I am still in for two kits.
  8. Great job....neat and clean
  9. Super clean, very neat work!!! I own a real 46 Super DeLuxe coupe so I may have to get this version.
  10. Just reading the box info, no inside info, it looks like Revell is mixing different parts from the past versions, added a few new parts, to create this version. Only when we get it will we know. Unless Ed Sexton wants to chime in!!!
  11. We'll have to see.....doubt any tooling changes as in body mods.......parts swapping from other versions...yes. I am happy that it will have stock stuff....a good kit.
  12. I think it turned out great....... I don't know your age but I bet like many of us getting a good build is more and more challenging. I have a cataract I need fixed but my arthritic hands will only get worse. It's frustrating for sure. It took me an hour to install 4 plastic rivets on a model....and it took 8 of them.....4 launched into space.
  13. Plymouth for me......as it's says it includes stock parts and optional suspension.....
  14. Sad part is he may end up harming many others but not himself.......
  15. Your fine.......sounding kinda the same is not a good idea. CALL A DOCTOR.......self medicating NEVER works 100%
  16. I have the 'find a bunch of old kits' dream myself. I find so many I can hardly carry them but the store is about to close so I try and carry them all.....piled up cartoon style I stumble along dropping a kit now and then until I get to my car with only one kit left. I thought the dream was because I really did find about 40 kits in a old hardware store in the mountains of NC. All were from the 1960's and early 70's. This was back in 1981....I still have some of the kits but I sold a number of them for a lot more than I paid!
  17. I hate the school related late, test coming up or part dressed........ I love the flying one. All it takes is some type spring board and I'm off.....very real too.
  18. Diggin up the past!!!!! I just bought a older issue for a project.......will take work to get it all to work!
  19. The drawings for the War Rig are pre-production as they differ from the movie truck. But a good start for a build.
  20. I kinda like those old Lindberg kits. I built the \34 Ford p/u' box stock and it was fun. Forced you to use some skills. I am working on a Lindberg 32 Ford right now that is kinda cool. What is interesting is how many different kits they made that were very similar but different. Did you do anything to the stance?? Looks good
  21. I'm 6' 1" and I could ride the foot box was to small for my size 13 no matter if I could get behind the wheel!! To get in I had to sit on the ground, stick my feet in and push myself in....like a glove!!!
  22. The car is pretty scary from a safety standpoint. The chassis is a single square tube down the center.....not much more than thin fiberglass center out!!!!
  23. My brother in law owned a JPS version. Fun car......but a VERY hand built car. And Lucas Dark Knight electrical. The car was a little scary to drive in the US during the 70's and 80's as it wasn't as tall as most other cars fenders.....always worried about not being seen. Add electric windows that didn't work, black thin fiberglass roof and in NC summers you could bake cakes inside. When he took the front suspension apart for a rebuild he found that all 8 wishbone parts looked alike, were unmarked but each only fit in one spot. Do the math on how long it took him to get it back!!!
