I like the rusty colored paint, then rock salt and then paint method..................... not a car but....

Peter pretty much covered it. Photo copy decals will ONLY work over pure white paint. ANY other color and it will alter the decal or make it disappear. So lots of issues. Add the original decal paper color, if it's blue or just a aged brown/tan, this will copy too. IMHO it's not worth it unless you have a really good decal, bright white paper being applied to a pure white surface. Best thing is you want GOOD copies....scan original decal, trace and make new art, send it to someone like Indycals that can print correctly. I've been a decal manufacture for 40+ years now. Thanks

Per the powers that be, the ending of the site was not a money thing. It was even offered that we, members, pay the bill for hosting. Nope. Then the suggestion was brought up that the database be turned over to a new care taker. Someone stepped up and offered to take over the database and maintain for free. Nope. So in the end it looks like they just want us all on Facebook or nothing. I do say Thanks to those who offered to save the site, for free, but were turned dow. And so it ia model related post....a model!!!!!

Reported today Facebook is using your personal data to train Meta in AI......note...NOT selling your info but feeding ALL your info into a AI database. This is who you are dealing with if you use any Meta product. Meta not breaking the law.....just bending it.

Maybe some of the limited Indy kits will only be at Salvinos but a few are listed as coming soon on hobby retail websites.....so who knows. And yes $80 is too much. But if they did a Indy 70's era McLaren and it was right....I'd have to have one to go with my 70's era F1 collection. Thx

Went Monday to HL, picked up AMT 60 Ford p/u and Revell Saturn V rocket at 40% off. A DEAL!

That is a surprise.......as stated Revell had that tooling (Cop Out) recently. Both these kits are the same other than bodies and decals. Wonder if they will get the OK for the Hot Wheels logos??
