Atlantis Models has bought another lot of tooling/molds.....

And builder of the Icon model 'Dodge Fever' drag car. I met Jim at NNL Toledo.....a SUPER nice guy. -
Part of the problem is pure numbers. For every McLaren F1 sold there are 20000 modern pony cars sold (Mustang, Challenger, Camaro) Even for the Vette I bet it's 100 to 1 ratio. Add that idiots can afford modern pony cars and they require no knowledge to own. I don't like banning by car type. We have two 2016 Mustangs, both well over 400hp and we don't do stupid stuff on the street. (we tore the nose off one at a open track day as it was set up to low) Doybt we'd ever attend a C&C event.....but if I wanted to I'll take my Javelin!!!! My Javelin at an event at the Greenbrier Resort......no issues at this event!! If you acted up....no invite next year!

Well Done....great colors! I like those kits....wish they'd do the two other versions.

GREAT looking build!! I like those IMSA and T/A Fords. The decals in those kits were bad for the first run, no white under the colors. Here is another Mustang with Indtcals decals for Willey! thx

Box Art Horrible?????? Uninspired.....yes. I've had a hand in creating boxart......it's a lot of work. Atlantis must want a look and they are going with it. Also they are pretty new to this automotive sector of kits. ONE of my purposed that got altered MANY more times before finalized....... -

Nice work! I caught part of 'Unstoppable' on TV the other night. Made me want to find a SD-40 to make the Denzel locomotive...... -

Goodbye Hot Rod Magazine?
Dave Van replied to Rockford's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
At one time I took 12 or so magazines a month. I am down to three now. But the magazines are killing themselves. Many of the mags I took went from 12 issues a year to 4....at a higher price!!!! So it's death by killing themselves as much as anything -
Very nice work!!! I have 2 connections to this car. Dad was Valvoline racing rep 1960-70 and jnew Bill. Then when Model King issued the kit I supplied the decal artwork......thanks

Nice work....came out great even with challenges. I learned to drive in our family 73 Pinto wagon. A neat car really. Dad took me to a huge parking lot, handed me the keys and said 'Go drive'. $ speed manual....I did just that. Thx

It's a clone of the old Aurora kit but yet to build it.... -
This is the last issue of the kit. It had 'stock' parts like wheels, tires, engine etc but it is a model of a altered OLDS car into a truck flatbed. So stock is not bone stock anything. But it is a gReat start to many a vintage build. Thx

MOMO Porsche 935, 1/24......
Dave Van replied to Allan31's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Well done build!! I like that kit. KINDA curbside and simple it can be made to look good. The kit started out as a Japanese kit, sold to ESCI. RC2 bought ESCI and used the 935 kit twice. A while back AMT asked if I had any mint kits as they wanted to find the tooling. They never found it and a year laterItlaeri issued it. Somehow it ended up there. -

I'd not mind getting the trikes and Creep Coupe!! I checked Beckley WV and they had 2 74 Road Runners and 2 Jeeps. Odd how one store gets a ton while another gets nothing. -

The luck of the Ollie's draw!!! I wasn't looking for the RR......I wanted a Go Kart. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and am wheelchair bound......wanted a Go Kart to build while in recovery. Brush paint like a 10 year old I was!!!
