  1. Dupli-color all the way here.....never have an issue with Gray primer sealer covering ANYTHING!
  2. Heard that too........but I can just keep the show character as my 'reality' and dismiss the real world. My grand daughter is an 'Abbey' and loves my cars, models and O scale trains!!!
  3. Thanks Don.......my day dreaming sometimes causes errors!! More than likely me thinking of combining kits to make what I'd LIKE to see...... Like my fantasy NCIS 30 Ford.......
  4. I have a 1960's era Monogram kit of a 1930 Ford coupe/roadster. It is a 4 in 1 kit like the box shown. I can't get to my kit right now....but IIRC the small catalog inside had a Pick up in the same style. I could be dreaming.....but sure I have seen it. These kits had a stock, custom, race version and with the 30, 34 and 36 kits either coupe or roadster.....making them akinda 6 in 1. This is the original Pheaton that was reissued a few years ago....much modified from this version.Well aware the Revell 1/25 scale kits are totally different. Found the 30 coupe box on the net.....
  5. Good overview of the 29 Ford. Wasn't the bench seat just taken from the original stock version of the 29?? I thought that's were it came from and not tooled new. The tool has been through many generations.....a BAB version would be cool someday.....maybe I'll repro it and we'll get that one!!
  6. I built this in 2011......figured we'd never get a real kit back.......
  7. WOW....
  8. It's a great well run show....or was every time I went. But I told myself I'd never go to ATL again after our 2011 trip to the show. We got caught up in some kind of drug/gang/whatever on the beltway....I thought I was in a F&F movie or something......but it was real with real guns.....never to darken ATL again.
  9. FANTASTIC work!!!!!! I met TV Tommy when Dad was racing director for Valvoline 1960-70. That is a great replica!
  10. There is a new Revell list out there......57 Ford Wagon one on it......check it out!
  11. This is better than the AMT kit!!!!!
  12. Love them Pinots!!!! NICE work. I learned to drive in a 72.....like the cars....
  13. Nice work! What decals.....I see no bleed....they look good,
  14. I have a buddy....he and his Dad are Hudson experts. Their 34 Terraplane pick up was featured at the Peterson museum as 'The Art of Pick-up' for most of 2013-14. He talks about how Hudson shared and moved parts around to make different models.....simply amazing!!! The way they made the most of their tooling is mind boggling. He has a 49 Hudson with 600,000 + miles....rebuilt motor, trans and rear.......but still rides and drives like a dream.
  15. GREAT creativity for sure........thanks for sharing....
  16. Hudson phots a plenty are in the links below. Almost every version Hudson made 1952-54 is covered well....... http://public.fotki.com/DaveVan51/2011-hudson-het-nats-okc/ http://public.fotki.com/DaveVan51/2012-hudson-essex-t/ http://public.fotki.com/DaveVan51/hudson-meet--french/
  17. LOVE the Lego parts!!! I use Lego lamp shades in my O scale trains. About 5 cents each vs $2-3 if you buy 'O scale' lamp shades!!!
  18. Agreed......someone at the distributor level.......but since I am not in the retail end any longer.....who knows.....
  19. My way......... I drag a razor saw across the plastic a few times....wiggle it while I drag. I do it all the time building railroad wooden cars from sheet plastic.
  20. I saw them at Toledo....worth the wait for sure.....
  21. YUMMY!!!.......fresh test shots......my favorite!!
  22. NICE clean work....love the day cab!!!!!!
  23. Very cool work....I have repro'd Yeller, Hot Dogger, Mixer and Cashbox myself....so this is a great project to watch.......and I can keep my mint Gypsy!!
  24. I own a 25 watt table laser. I use CorelSraw as design and input to laser. Cost ranges from $2 a minute plus set up to $10 a minute depends on who and what machine used.
