  1. Thanks Tim....I'd not pay the $90 or so.....but for what my LHS charges for current Tevell....I may......
  2. Here is our Punkin and some kittens we had....all have moved on to new homes......
  3. Good looking 'kids'!! We always have cats in and around the house. We did cat rescue when we lived in Charlotte. Now we help the local no kill shelter. I have two inside kids.....a 12 year old Manx Punkin and a kitten that almost ran under my lawn mower 6 years ago names Booger. Named because when I found him he was blind from a eye issue (eye boogers) that was cured with medicine. He's now a 12 pound buddy. We also care for 4 feral cats outside......feed, water and vet when needed.
  4. POA is what you need......and a doctor that will back you up. Very tough going ahead....no use sugar coating....I will pray it works out for you.
  5. Change.....the only constant......... In high school we had to buy Sears tools set to enroll in auto mechanics. A nice set with tool box was $32. Yes...it was 1974....and we were getting a deal as the entire class was buying them. But it made me a Craftsman tool guy. The SEARS credit card was a tough one to get....when I did it was a big deal....it meant you had made it! Change.........
  6. Nice fabrication!
  7. Pretty cool!!!! Reminds me of some of your late 60's to 70's magazine articles! Maybe you should try a Space 1999 kit bash now that the kit is out there......kinda a Moon Scope 5???
  8. I see now.....the videos were not showing up when I post. Thanks....
  9. I used that system back 1971 or so. The model mags of the time called it 'Psycho Swirl'. We applied a semi flat white base coat....then submerged the model in a bucket of water.....sprayed the colors wanted in the water surface.....make a pattern or not......pull the model, nose first, up through the paint. It does go on like a decal....as you may need to blot out some trapped water. Fun....but hard to maintain control or scale.
  10. More of my decals!!!! I can't wait!!
  11. RIP Slim...........
  12. Looks like I need to draw up a set for that car!!!!!
  13. If they had put in the turned injectors it would be a HAVE TO BUY........may still......
  14. Me TOO! Kinda wonder if this is the thinking behind the S&H kit.???
  15. Correct....it's a 73. But the 73 used the 72 rear bumper so we have that. Kinda remembered it had a longer WB.....5/32 of an inch I may just try and fake it.
  16. Minilite wheels?!?!?!?!?!?!?
  17. Speaking of conversions and/or different versions Revell could do....... The 'Dudes' Torino.......I always wanted to build this one....but between 4 doors, notch roof and nose too much work to convert a 72......but a 76 ???? Maybe a can do. The rear bumper is same as a 72......
  18. You caught the KOOL factor for sure!!!!
  19. Very nice clean build. I was privileged to do the decal design for that kit. Nice to see one built.
  20. We have a few of those idiots around here.........12 inch diameter chrome stacks blowing tons of black smoke.....then they laugh at me in my Smart car.......which cost new less than their 'stacks' and could run a month on what they waste in a hour......
  21. All true Steve. I am not judging the Torino.....until production kits are in hand it's just talk. But while the vendor in Asia does the work they will only do what the customer requests. I have had the opportunity to do some tooling work through Model King and the old RC2. When we were restoring a older tool sent some vintage parts overseas to be cloned to restore a tool. The tool maker cloned them perfectly down to a ejection pin mark I should have cleaned up before sending!! Good info in.....good product. You know the rest....
