  1. Pulled the DVD out and watched it last night rather than the Eve junk. Still a GREAT film......old school Hollywood with lots of action....cool cars!
  2. I have a mid 70's Monogram 34....I do like.....still had the Greyhound radiator cap at that time!!! Love to see it restored to the original 6 in 1 kit!!
  3. My 34 Ford simple project........ Changed the wheels and tires....made the decals including the rivet and panel lines. A fun 2 day project....... I'll keep my 'ignorance is bliss!!!
  4. TWO scale inches??? I just set my digital calipers to 2 scale inches.....no wonder it looks fine to me!!!! I am no 33-34 Ford expert.....so it was never an issue with me. Be nice if it was 100% correct.....just see why it has never come up with anyone I know that has built it or used the body elsewhere. I've designed kits for myself and others.....but this one never crossed my mind!
  5. They did remake it.....kinda.....Rat Race.......same concept....but different enough thank goodness.
  6. That Revell 34 Ford above is the old kit based off the Revell 26 Ford kit.....and thus really bad body...... I find the snapper kit, 100% different than the above 34, pretty good kit really. Never took out my calipers to check....but to my eye it is good.
  7. I think the gas station scene is an all time classic!!!! Read up on the making of the film if you have not....... I think Winters was FANTASTIC.......
  8. YES!!! Talk about a 'movie car' movie!!!! Some would be easy...other TOUGH.....but I'd like to build a few of them. One of the last 'old Hollywood' films.
  9. Sadly I know that movie and want that car too.....go well with a Mustang!
  10. Very cool build!!! If Ford had the idea many years ago.........Maybe this would be a Ford and not an ELIO...... I just paid my deposit on one....due NOV 2015....
  11. All I can say is SUPPORT Moebius...........this is just the start.......can't wait to see the Plymouth pics Art...
  12. I have the 1980's issue of this kit. Even back then it cost me the unheard of price of $60!!!!! It came in a foam box bottom that holds all the parts nicely. Always wanted to build.....doubt it will happen!!!
  13. Hmmmmmmmmmm.....have to get one.........
  14. I use it in my 1/48 scale model railroad. But Boban brings it to a new level.
  15. NEVER looked so good!!!!
  16. Did get 'official' confirmation that the kit is no longer in production and the kits in the system are all there will be.....no rerun of the kit will happen. No real reason given. Maybe the kit and parts will reappear in a different form later??? Get them while you can!!
  17. Local hobby shop, Internet from sites like Model Roundup or Model Empire, (both good hobby guys) and model shows.....in that order. If you don't have a local shop go internet (sound like you have a local) but having a LHS is a GREAT thing....my LHS is a 3 hour drive....needless to say I don't go often.
  18. Kool....I'll be watching...
  19. I use it and like it. I never mix super glue and clear so I can't answer. I like it because it does work well and because it is available at my local drug store. My hobby shop is 3 hours away.....the drug store a few minutes.
  20. Looks good.....Big Bad Blue with a Mask.......as a AMC owner...I like!
  21. Danged macular degeneration! ...had to see my many errors!
  22. I've suggested it too.......and told R2 if they need the correct grille and hood to clone I'd supply them!!!!! My spin on the Pacer!!!!
  23. Even in 1/35 I might bite.....but at $40+ I'll pass........1/25 for $40.....yes!
