  1. Bought these from a collector, I wanted more but alot he was hanging onto. Over all I got a great deal on them. The blazer on top is a glue bomb and the ram vts has the body painted only. The rest were sealed till I opened them lol
  2. Thanks guys, it was alot of fun and I tried many new things during that build. But there is a few things I would do different if I build another.
  3. Mine is the revell 72 olds I built. I opened up and hinged all the parts and overall it is my favorite build. More here: http://s373.photobuc...0olds%20custom/
  4. thanks man.
  5. So I got my interior finished and the body on the the chassis for good. I also painted all of the window trim and installed the glass. I hate the way the tail lights came out, but live and learn.

  7. Got the papers switched over on my Sonoma, and dad got this:
  8. That is awesome Terry! Very nicely done. I plan on finding that kit to build a replica of my 99 Sonoma, but it will need alot of modification.
  9. Was that the show in shearwater today? Me and a co-worker wanted to go but we both had to work. I'd like to make it there some time.
  10. Bought this: and got this: First time I have actually experienced that. I looked in the box and said "what the heck?"
  11. Added a light bar, now it needs to be painted and detailed.
  12. Nick the truck looks very nice! Buying these for mine very soon: Can't wait.
  13. I might add a light bar on top, but I don't know. Anyone have an idea on other things to add? Feels like it is missing something to me but I am unsure.
  14. Thanks for all the comments everyone! It turned out great despite the problems I had.
  15. The details are pretty good. Not as nice as a model kit but it details up nice. So I decided this is going to be work truck. I made a Back Rack for it. I might do a landscaping, construction, or snow plow company, but we'll see.
  16. So I finally finished this build. The kit was warped and it has some major fit issues noticeable but it was a fun build. I scratch built the front push bar, roof rack and ladder. I added a winch to the front, a spare in the back and some stuff in the roof rack but I forgot tie downs, oh well. I screwed up the rear hatch so I decided to add some rust to it. I also converted it to 4wd. I weathered it to give it a more realistic look and to take a break from my shiny builds haha. more pics here: http://s373.photobuc...vanagon%20DONE/ It gave me some troubles but it's done and I'm really happy with the final result.
  17. I went into my local michaels to get some flocking and they had it all cleared out! Gone. I asked if they were getting more in, and they told me "probably not, it doesn't sell well". Let's just say I am not impressed.
  18. I actually really like that idea, I follow many 1:1 forums but seeing members rides change over time would be neat.
  19. Thanks guys! This one Is on hold while I complete some already started projects. But I did weather the body for fun, looks pretty cool.
  20. Went for a drive yesterday and thought I would snap a couple pics, got some neat backgrounds now. And back home after the drive:
  21. There's been a few threads like these, but I always like seeing changes in others rides. '99 GMC Sonoma, 72,000 original miles, 4.3L v6 auto, god I love this truck. Just cleaned it today actually, tomorrow I might do some cruising and find some cool places to take some GOOD pictures, but we'll see. I also got a new tonneau cover to go on it, but I need to do some work to the bed before I install it.
  22. I haven't done much to it since those last pics, here's the latest pics, I want to get going on it again soon though.
  23. Thanks guys! Yep the kit comes with both dashes, but since a rhd model is cooler, that's the reason I am using it. The kit does have a clear hood but I painted mine since I wanted a "realistic" model.
  24. I probably will too. After a MAJOR mishap, I have added some more to the paint and some more decals. I was adding a coat of clear and the top of my tamiya paint stand decided to POP OFF and land upside down in the DIRT. I was going to strip it but I decided to add a third color after sanding the roof down. I also added a few more decals. The paint is really rough right now, but once I get more clear on and polish it out it should be OK. There is still some blemishes on the drivers side door/body, so I need to figure out how to deal with that.
