  1. That is an amazing diorama! The cluttered look is so realistic. Real garages are never spotless and orderly! Nice work! Sam
  2. Very nice classic rod! It looks like some of the 32's I built in the 1960's, but much better! Sam
  3. That is an incredible model! Great detailing, and it looks so real. It could have been in the "Real or Model" section! Sam
  4. Where do you get these goofy ideas, Chuck?.......They're great! Another imaginative creation. That Jerry is a genius, but he is a little scary. He must be breaking some traffic laws or OSHA rules with this one! Cool truck! Sam
  5. Nice job, Buck! It looks like it's been sitting there for decades! I like how those tires are sinking into the ground. Cool! Sam
  6. Definitely a "cool" ride, Chuck! I like the shark on the hood. Is the tarp made of blue duct tape? It looks realistic. Good looking "ice" too! Nice job on an imaginative build! Sam
  7. Nice! I like the way you've done the two tone color scheme. Looks good!
  8. Beautiful model, Paulo! I like the colors, and the rear pan and taillight treatment. The independent front end is nice, too. Looks like you "blued" the headers. Nice touch of realism! Sam
  9. Green and clean - looks good!
  10. That is cool! I'm eager to see it finished! Sam
  11. I wouldn't have thought of brown for a street rod, but that looks really good on your 32! Great engine detail too, especially the headers! Very well done! Sam
  12. Here's a link to video of an R/C truck with a working snowplow. It's from a friend of my son's who is a German immigrant, and finds these oddball R/C things in Germany. It's a little off topic for this forum, but it IS a model truck! I wonder how long it takes to clear his driveway! Mr. Plow
  13. It looks mean and clean! Nice model!
  14. Were those photos taken on the "Porkway"? Groan - bad pun! Sam
  15. Very nice, John! It's amazing what a great paint job and a set of wheels can do to change the character of a car! Good work! Sam
  16. Thanks, Randy. Your Challenger inspired the orange mist & black color scheme. I hope you don't mind me (sort of) copying it! Sam
  17. Kyle, the Revell Mustangs are great kits. I built the 06 last year as a replica of my son's real one. I bought the Bullitt version to get the correct wheels for my son's replica. This custom was built from the Bullitt kit. They go together well, and are nicely detailed. The headlights were a tight fit, but a little filing down fixed that easily.
  18. Looking good! I like the concept. Chrysler should have made this to compete with the Ranchero and El Camino! Sam
  19. Nice build so far! Looks kinda mean. What color interior will it have? I like the steel/mag wheel combo.
  20. Very nice, Mitch! Good looking engine compartment and interior. Nice paint, too! Sam
  21. Good looking build! It's nice to see something other than Fords and Chevy's! I like it! Sam
  22. That's looking good - a nice blend of modern and classic 'Stangs! Sam
  23. What a great idea! That really looks convincing! Very creative! Perfect for a diorama. Sam
  24. Hey, all, My friend Jimmy bought an 08 Mustang, and wanted to customize it a little on a budget. He likes old Fords, so he lifted the teardrop bulge from an old 66 galaxie, and stuck it on his hood, and two "porthole" windows from a 56 T-Bird to replace the stock side windows. He swapped his stock wheels for a set of big & little's from a friend who had a hot rod to lower the front end and give the 'Stang a meaner stance. That was cheaper than hacking up the suspension! He had it shot with orange mist and gloss black paint, and stuck on some clear lens Euro taillights and a bar grille from J.C.Whitney's. The engine is all stock, and the teardrop is just for looks. Heck, he didn't even cut a hole in the hood for it! He's going cruising downtown with it tonight. It's warmed up to a balmy 40 degrees here in PA, so maybe some chicks will be out and admire him in his new Mustang! Yeah,....sure they will! Yeah, I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here! Sam BTW, Jimmy's car started out as a Revell Bullitt Mustang kit, and Jimmy is made of plastic!
  25. That's some serious scratch building! Nice work! Is it in 1/25 scale? Sam
