  1. Great build! The red really stands out, and the wood looks real! Nice work! Sam
  2. Beautiful model! The paint is really nice - great color! It's nice to see a 36 ford that's not turned into a hot rod. Sam
  3. Great looking wagon! I like the color. It's nice to see an unusual subject being done so well! Sam
  4. Very cool, Rich! I love the old Mopars. We had a 57 Dodge wagon when I was a kid. Sam
  5. Great build! I like to see these base model cars built. They look more like what we saw on the roads back then. Great work! Sam
  6. I'm guessing it's a very well done model.
  7. That's really well done! Very real looking. Realistically cluttered, but not overdone. GREAT work! Sam

  9. Amazing build, Harry! Really nice work! Sam
  10. Looks good so far. What scale is it? I built a couple model teardrops, one in 1/25 and one in 1/12. And a 1:1. They're cool! Sam
  11. Very nice! The yellow really grabs the eye! Looks good with the racer in tow. Sam
  12. Rick, I used real mud on this Jeep. I mixed dirt from the garden with water, then dipped a 4 inch paintbrush in it and flung it on the model from about 2 feet away. I had taped off the wiper paths on the windshield before I did the splattering. I brushed the wheels and tires with mud too. Then I shot the Jeep with clear after the mud was completely dry. This method might work for you. Sam
  13. Very cool truck! Looks like has been well used for years! Nice work! Sam

  16. Wow, that's nice! Great color, and so clean! Nice foil work. Sam
  17. Building things does seem to be becoming a lost art. In 2006 I built a teardrop camper trailer which my wife and I go camping with. It always draws a crowd in campgrounds, and we give people "tours" of the trailer. When I tell people I built it myself, some of them (mostly younger folks) lapse into absolute shock to think I can do such a thing. One guy even said "Are you some kind of genius?" Heck no, it's basic carpentry - nothing too difficult, but I'm surprised that those people are amazed. Here's a pic of the trailer being used.
  18. Ditto what he said! Very nice work all around! Sam
  19. Good looker! I like the color - it really pops! Sam
  20. Very nice model, Jurgen! Wonderful details! There is a large antique machinery show here in central Pennsylvania each September, and they always have steam tractors running. They hook some of them up with flat belts to drive portable sawmills and other farm equipment. It's great! Sam
  21. Very nice build! I guess the obvious joke is this banana has "appeal"! Yeah, bad pun, but great looking model. Nice work! Sam
  22. Here's number one for 2014, an MPC (Round 2) Jeep built out of the box. It was a pretty simple build, but I had a fit issue with the hood and front grille. It took a little sanding and filing, but it isn't too bad, I guess. Paint is Krylon olive green sprayed over with Dullcote. Pardon the dust on the windshield. Comments welcome! Sam
  23. Good looking 'Vette! Great color very clean build. Nice! Sam
  24. Very nice old truck! The putty on the front fender and the green moldy-looking wood are great touches! Nice work! Sam
  25. Looking good! The foil work looks great so far! Sam
