  1. Riley, I looked on Google and you're right, the hood scoop trim is usually body color, but on the photo below which I used for reference, it looks chrome. Maybe the owner of that one chromed it or painted it silver. I liked the chrome a little better.
  2. Very good looking Chrysler! Great color, and a clean build. I want that kit, but the LHS wants 31 bucks for it. Maybe later. Sam
  3. Very nice! Wagons are cool. Good work on this one. Great paint work! Sam
  4. Here's an eBay find for $10. It's an old tool AMT kit, very simple. One piece chassis, tub interior, just like the original kit from 1965. It can be built as a convertible or a hardtop. I built it stock, with Krylon paint and some BMF trim. The chassis was warped, so I straightened it with a heat gun, but it still didn't fit. I had to cut away the front of the rear inner fenders to make it fit. Interior was a poor fit, too, but I got it all together with super glue and clamps. The taillights were missing, but Ruben Arredondo from this forum sent me a set. Thanks, Ruben! These old kits make me appreciate how much better the new ones are! Thanks for looking. Sam
  5. Looks good! Early Mustangs were cool! The steering wheel detail is a nice touch. Nice work!
  6. Very nice! It does have an early 1960's look. Reminds me of a couple of AMT 32's I built back then, except that mine didn't look nearly as good as this one! Good work! Sam
  7. Super clean and just about perfect! Great work. I like those old Fairlanes. Sam
  8. Beautiful build, Rod! Great work on the trunk and engine bay. Good color choice too. Very nice all around! Sam
  9. Great looking Mustang! Good color choice, and very nice interior and engine detailing. Sam
  10. Very nice! Looks just ratty enough to be cool, not overdone. Nice! Sam

  12. Very cool van! I think I hear Beach Boys music in the background! Sam
  13. Great conversion, nice color scheme. The photos look good with the backdrop and the figure. Nice work! Sam
  14. Great save of an old classic kit! As a member of the glue bomb generation (the ones who built those models so poorly when we were kids in the 1960's) I thank you! Sam
  15. Looks real to me, but I'm often wrong!
  16. That's a beauty! Great finish! Nice clean build. Sam
