  1. Really nice build! Great engine and interior detailing. That color really looks different in the outside photo. Great work! Sam
  2. Nice bike! Those decals do look like they would be a lot of tedious work. You did a great job on them! Sam
  3. VERY nice build! The bike strapped in the van is a great touch! Interior details are amazing! EXCELLENT work! Sam
  4. Wow! Gorgeous Galaxie! The colors are just right. Great work! I had that same kit, which I built in the 1960's. It was molded in a dark blue color, and I painted it black. I rebuilt it in 2010, changing it to a black and white two-tone color scheme. I cut down some chrome fender skirts to fit it, and added a resin continental kit from the Modelhaus. Your model looks way better than mine! Sam
  5. Great build! I like the color. I had a real '67 Mustang convertible in that color many years ago. Nice work on the Shelby. Sam
  6. Amazing build! The details are awesome. Great job! Sam

  8. Wow! Great concept! The 'Bird nose looks good on the Toronado. Can't wait to see it finished. Sam
  9. Beautiful build! I loved that Mustang since I saw the film back about 1969! Nice work! Sam
  10. The figures look very real, as does all the junk in the photos. Very nice work! The background makes it look so realistic! Sam
  11. Looks tough, Erik! Great wheels and engine! Nice build. Sam
  12. Fred, I keep it away from traffic, riding only on side streets and alleys here in my town. I watch the rear view mirror and pull over for cars behind me. The flag and flashing taillight help drivers see me. This area of PA has many rural back roads with little traffic. Sam
  13. Way beyond cool! Great concept, beautifully done! Nice work! Sam
  14. Very cool! The six is a nice touch. Great finish! Sam
  15. I figured that those of who like cars and models might also like bikes and such, so here's a shot of me and my new toy, a KMX Tornado recumbent trike. I had a mild heart attack in late March (spent Easter weekend in the hospital). They put a stent in an artery, and I'm good to go. In cardiac rehab, they put me on a recumbent exercise bike. I realized how comfortable and efficient the recumbent riding position is, and I always thought the recumbent trikes were cool, so I got this baby. It's a blast to ride, and is very comfortable and stable. It has 16" front wheels and a 20" rear wheel with a Nexus 8 speed internal geared hub (an engineering marvel, BTW), front disk brakes with lockable parking feature. The seat and pedal boom are adjustable for all sizes of riders. Since this photo was taken I replaced the single 40 tooth front sprocket with a triple sprocket unit (24-34-42T). The gearing was a little too high for this 63 year old rider on the hills in my town. Trikes aren't cheap, but this one was reasonable as trikes go. Got it from Utah Trikes. I hope you guys like it.
  16. Welcome, Joe. I'm in PA too - half the state away in Centre Hall, near State College. This place will make you an expert in no time. Lots of good info here! Sam

  23. Nice Mustang - looks good for its age! One of my neighbors has had one of these under a tarp in his garage for about 20 years. His son just turned 16. Maybe he'll finally get it fixed up for him. Sam
