  1. I need to hear from someone who has built the "Streetburners" series 67 Chevelle. I believe it shows a red Chevelle on the box art. How does it compare with the older 67 Chevelle releases? Thanks!!!
  2. Too cool!!!! lol. Strange, my wife's Caravan wasn't like that one. My son's Challenger is, though!!!
  3. Me too!!!! I'd LOVE to find a couple of Malibu dashes for the 71/72 Chevelle. Any hope at all???
  4. Might also try your LHS, if you have one nearby. They usually have clear and tinted lexan for the RC crowd.
  5. I need a favor . . . nothing to do with modeling, but I'd be in your debt and could arrange some kind of kit swap for your trouble. PM me is you would be willing to help. It's a 1-time thing and not very involved. Thanks for considering.
  6. Let's pool our modeling budgets for Sept. and buy a case of them.
  7. 02 Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab, 09 Dodge Challenger R/T and an 06 Kawasaki ZR1 (0-60 in 2.8).
  8. There WAS a link to Norm's "catalog" on Fotki, but I tried it tonight and it seems it's not available . . . at least I can't get to it. http://public.fotki.com/davetoups/aftermarket_model_parts/replicas_and_miniat/
  9. Nice build little brother. I'm watching. Do you want me to get some polishing stuff for you and run it down to you? I can order whatever you want and will trust you to have the cash to pay me back. Good chance for us to meet face to face. PM me if interested. What kind of flocking material did you use Brandon? Looks really nice!
  10. LOVE the avatar, Harry! Nip it! Nip it in the bud!
  11. Really nice build! I remember Fireball from when he was driving a Poncho. He was my hero and it just killed me when I heard that he had died. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news.
  12. MicroMark has them. Pretty nice stuff.
  13. Thanks Terry. Good info. I appreciate your taking the trouble to help me out. I went to the Yahoo group and the website and don't see any way to contact Dan. Any info on that? Thanks.
  14. What kind of tool do I need to flare small aluminum tubing like we use for exhaust? Where do I get such tool? Any tips on doing this? Thanks.
  15. Hey Bimbeau . . . It does have a little whang to it. Really nice builds from one of my all-time favorite flicks.
  16. Congratulations to you and your bride. Good timing bro. Mine are 4 years apart . . . sure makes things easier when college time rolls around!
  17. John, your detailing is nothing short of spectacular! I wanna be able to build like that when I grow up.
  18. Congratulations to you both. That makes quite a statement these days. I'm a rookie at 32 yrs. Can't believe she could put up with me for that long! Boy, did I marry over my head!!!!!
  19. Sweet!! I'd also like to know what kit that is from. Nice job.
  20. Really really nice engine detail. Gives me a goal for mine. Hope it will be half as nice.
  21. Nice!! Please keep posting. I have a couple of 956s and a couple of 962s to build. I'll be watching!
  22. Sweet! I LOVE Can Am cars. I used to go to the races at Road Atlanta back in the day and those orange beasties were fine! I love them all, though . . . tough to pick one to cheer for. Yeah, that color looks to me to be right on the money. Gets me all primed to get out my AM versions to build.
  23. Yeah, me too Chris. I think it works like this. I buy a kit for, say, 15 bucks. I build it to the standards of a 3 yr. old and am tired of fooling with it. So, I'll sell it to you and since I got 15.99 for the last one like this, I made profit, meaning I'm a PROFESSIONAL builder.
