  1. I went to swap out a bad can of Tamiya clear (seemed to be a very old can,Hobbytown here is full of awesome guys, swapped it right out with apologies),wound up swapping to Testors (they were out of Tamiya, and I got 2 cans outta the deal ),and bought the rereleased AMT 70's boat load of Impala,I have idears for the included trailer
  2. I will be buying a few, even if it takes me a while to get to em,I'd much rather Revell get my bucks then some dude on (whatever eplaced) eBay down the road when I'm ready to build one
  3. Thanks Besides, how would it be open ended if you ended it?
  4. Looks great,Slusher,love the sawblades/directionals!
  5. If it were my thread,I'd just leave it be...I know that if I have...how many Revell '06-'10 Mustang kits was it?.....others do too. Eventually interest in other projects (and summertime) will wane and it'll thrive again...be a real shame to lose it
  6. Happy borthday to Daughter!!! May it be the first of very many
  7. I've been out and about all day, just getting home. SO my bench has seen no action at all today (well, there may have been a life and death struggle between a spider and fly,but I digress...),but I may yet go out there,it's a pleasantly cool evening and the lighting isn't that bad,LOL!
  8. Got three little jars of paint for detail work
  9. My folks had one almost that same color,OL! NIce job on it,y friend, looks 11,geat weathering too
  10. Looking good Andy,I digs it! What are those,'58-59 Caddy caps in those whitewalls? Look good on it whatever they are!
  11. Oooooooh MAN that brings back memories!!! Nicely built
  12. Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about the loss of the 1:1 (especially in that manner!),glad you weren't "called home",we'd miss your builds I always liked the body style,JUST missed out on one I REALLY wanted a few years ago at a Super Chevy at Bristol Motor Speedway to a cute redhead-lady,was a '71 Z28 LT1/4 speed #'s matched (not that that mattered to me,I was buying to drive and enjoy ) car in a non-correct (again, didn't matter to me) dark Charcoal Metallic, and we redid one back in high school shop (Auto Body Repair shop-along with a '73 SS Chevelle that had a trasnpanted 454,same owner of both),a '73 fake Z28,man that was a GORGEOUS car!!!
  13. This one,the Snake Bite (red) is WAY too dang high, about average is $25-35 + S&H on either the Wild Breed or Snake Bite kits, sealed NIB,at least that's what I paid for em-and they're still averaging about that from what I see when they're on eVilbay. As for that '83 GT,that's one missing from my collection,I've missed out on those before got out budgeted,LOL! That will be a KILLER project,I hope you get it going,I wanna watch!!!
  14. Very,VERY nicely done,my friend! (but please don't remind me how much BMF it needs,LOL,I hate BMF'ing and have 3 hardtops and 1 ragtop of this kit to build yet )
  15. No online gaming hookups here, but every system back to the Super Nintendo (even the rarer Sega systems) except the PS3 (yet). Mostly play the 360 (the kids play mostly the others),the Forzas, the Fables, the Halos,The Gears of Wars, etc, though I avoid military sims like the plague for personal reasons,I like a good RPG shooter though, long as it doesn't remind me of th middle east deserts,LOL
  16. Um...since you aren't anyone of us (or anyone of us anyone other than ourselves...),'zat make you "other people"? Self fulfilling prophecy, and I just joined it,hahaha, because since I'm not you,I'm your "other people" and am therefore wrong too...
  17. I built an AMT 701/2 Z28 18 or so years back (the older kit,not the newer tooling I suppose?),but I'll be building one possibly a 30 day OOB build staring on the 15th. Any hangups to look for?
  18. Very nice, paint looks miles deep!
  19. That counts,NICE build,Brother, looks 1:1 to my eye Youget the prizeof being first to get one complete in this thread too,LOL! An "atta-boy" doesn't sound like much, but it comes with admiration of your work
