  1. Boy, that thing's WAY wrong for a Berry Mini-T, I'd have to have one in my hands to see if it could be corrected.
  2. Ray Harroun is buried less than a mile from here.
  3. I have a 55 Ford Fairlane and 56 Chevy Belair sedan, both very buildable, not quite up to the Modelhaus standard, but they didn't cost Modelhaus money either.
  4. The engine is an easy swap if you don't like it, what rear end and suspension does it have? Traditional or late model high tec like the roadster. I suure would like a buggy spring and a quick change this time.
  5. I saw your truck, it had an empty spot next to it and I went over a few rows to park because the grandkids were with me.
  6. Went today, contest models looked great, at least what I got to see of them. Took my grandkids and they were ready to leave way before I was. Anyone got any pics?
  7. Janis covering Buffy St. Marie
  8. Hank Jr. covering Skynyrd
  9. Bavarian Money Waster
  10. The Bangles covering a Jules Shear song.
  11. The Ramones covering Dylan (and the Byrds)
  12. Tom Petty reunited with his first band Mudcrutch covering the Byrds.
  13. It's short alright! It represents an altered wheelbase drag racer, and so short is right. The chassis and interior are simplified but us teenagers back in the 60's loved 'em.
  14. "Riding with Daffy Duck, Playing with Tonka Trucks....."
  15. The US Chevette diesels had Isuzu engines and were pretty good .I know nothing about the Escorts.
  16. Snow, sleet and cold, Blllaaaacccchhhh !!
  17. A 69 Road Runner grill to fit the AMT 69 GTX kit can be bought from Harts Parts, I "think" he has a bench seat interior for it to, but it may be for the 68 Road Runner kit. Again, I "think" the fancy GTX interior was an upgrade option for the RR and "may" be correct. The lower body trim molding needs to be removed, and the deck lid changed.
  18. Forward that email to paypal.
  19. Sorry, I liked the last ones better.
  20. We all come to our own acceptance level on quality, some of us were born and raised when Americans built and did their best. Today everyone's used to the cheap Chinese meritocracy at Walmart. The majority won't pay for quality, so we don't get quality.
  21. The 53 / 54 gasser kit is the same as your sedan delivery kit with the two door sedan body and interior, so it's no better. The Monogram 53 kit is 1/24 th, and has proportion issues, it would be longer than a Cadillac but is Chevy width. It does have the stock parts in it.
