    True, but the powers that make such calls say that trucks make jobs, ect, I think it has something to do with donations during election years.

    It goes together well, and looks good, but is far from accurate. Do some research and plan on some scratch building.

    Here in Madison County Indiana we have a wheel tax, and a motorcycle pays more than an 18 wheel simi truck. Real fair set up.

    Nick, I'm referring to lowered, chop topped mag wheeled candy painted late model powered customs on air bags, completely useless for information on building vintage stock pickups.

    Don't forget that EARLY 1968 cars weren't marked Z/28, but had 302 engine call outs. A friend of mine had a new one.

    We've had a bit of fun with this but the truth is that gauge decals and bare metal foil are things I wouldn't want to build without.

    I've seen the Willys and Henry J built stock, but never done one.

    I bare-metaled an AMT 58 Chevy a while back, I still wake up crying every so often.........

    It's simple. If it's overpriced don't bid. I've bought several chassis for kitbashes and saved some $$$. I think the guy was building slot cars.

    OK, it seems everyone paints wood bed floors to look like nicely finished wood, but we all know that they didn't come that way when new. So what is the correct finish for a stock build with a wood bed floor? It seems that either painted all body color, or bare wood with black strips would be correct. Thanks in advance.

    The Farmers Almanac predicts this to be a cold hard winter.

    No body, chassis or suspension parts lower than the bottom of the wheel rim. There are also minimum heights for lights and bumpers. Cars that low look stupid anyway.

    I wonder which interior it has, deluxe or base?

    Maybe one of the many resin RS grills will fit, and MCG has a photo-etch set with one, but they are all intended for the AMT kit, so who knows.
