AMT is re releasing two Corvair kits soon.

The Corvair never sold in the numbers that GM had hoped for, especially as an economy car. (it did better with the sporty car guys) Because the Ford Falcon far outsold the Corvair the Chevy II was rushed into production. It was far more conventional and a better match for the Falcon. It also had heat and leaked less oil.

Last week I went to lunch and someone in a crew cab long bed truck with a trailer had parked longways taking up about 5 spaces, right across from the door instead of out back where a considerate person would have. Someone had parked in the spot behind him, real close, so I parked right in front of him, real close. He had to wait for us to get finished eating before he could leave.

Its the drummers job to "drive the bus", he should be a human metronome for the others. And when you are on stage your monitors (headphones, fallback speakers or midi ) are your lifeline, you can't hear yourself.

Great weather today, rode the Shovelhead to Indy, got the new Aug-Sept issue of MCM, and I thought our local Meijer store had discontinued models a month ago but they had only moved them!
