  1. I'm going to chime in on Harts Parts, Great parts, great service, no fears about buying again.
  2. I think I've built at least one of every VW Beetle kit ever made, and I don't know of any with separate fenders. None have realistic inner quarter panels eithor so some scratch building is in order.
  3. Found it, Sept 28. Same location.
  4. I'll be there! Great show!
  5. In Columbus Indiana, always sometime in September. I can't find any info online.
  6. Looks great!
  7. As long as I have my 69 I'm good. It's been downhill since 73, althoe the 4'th gen was the bottom.
  8. Gorgeous! I've got the engine parts if you want them.
  9. I'd rather see American subjects like an IH Super M, but beggars can't be choosy.
  10. Kits seem to be going up in price $3 or $4 every year anyway, If Chinese goods become too costly the model companys will just move the tooling somewhere else where the labor is cheaper. 12 year olds doing slave like labor are worldwide. That is if the Chinese government doesn't seize it.
  11. Anyone have a flyer or info?
  12. If I had $200 it would be in the mail already.
  13. I went to RT's Hobby Haus in Richmond Indiana earlier today, he had 2 on the shelf. One is still there if anyone wants to make the trip!
  14. Many years ago, bought some items on ebay, no email or messages through ebay answers, over two months to get my items and they were indignant over my " impatience".
  15. I don't care for eithor, but I could make B into something I'd like.
  16. I would be interested in your 25 T wheels, I build a lot of Model T's and could use them too. What would you need in trade?

  17. Hi! What do you need for the 40cab? Do you have the doors? I need them too. Thanks!

  18. Staggered valve cover bolts are another clue, 1959 and earlier. No provision for side motor mounts says 1957 and older. No way it's anything close to a 396.
  19. As per the engine, 55 Chevys were a 265 CI engine, and do have obvious differences than later SBC's. Biggest is the lack of a full flow oil filter on the lower block. I don't have a kit to check.
  20. Yes! I built it the summer of 1970, drive it more now than ever. I'm in the Manx Club, so I've been all over the country in it, don't own a trailer. Here's crossing the Mississippi on the old Route 66 Chain Of Rocks Bridge last year.
  21. Probity more suited for off road than the Yuppie pub crawlers "Jeep" makes today. Far more interesting to me.
  22. This is your winner! If you want to scratch build an accurate 1/25 th scale mystery machine measure the shaggy figure, 3 inches is 6 feet in 1/24 th, and go from there. I have no idea on the engine, as the mystery machine is cab forward, has a bench seat in front (no engine cover like early US vans is posible) and a flat rear floor. (no rear engine like a Corvair or VW) You figure that one out.
  23. Everybody's missing the 41 has running boards, got to swap them over too.
