  1. I've got a 350 and a 350 turbohydromatic.
  2. AFX stuff is great, first class. (IF you EVER get it )
  3. Modelhaus repops the JoHan 413 long-ram in resin, you can get all you want.
  4. I have parts from Randy that are great, but I've read too many threads about poor service and long delivery times since he bought the hobby store. Nothing new in the resin busness.
  5. Thanks guys, that ebay seller hs a lot of items I want on his website.
  6. I am wanting to build a 68 Cuda from the AMT 69 kit. Does anyone know of a conversion kit? I'm leary of Perry's resins due to other's problems. Thanks in advance.
  7. Cool! I've seen a couple of real ones swaped to air cooled VW 1600's for drag racing.
  8. Yep, it was BMC in 58. I'll see if my old DuPont books have "world colours" included.
  9. So where are we going to put everybody?
  10. AMT has two tools of the 70 1/2 Camaro, an old tool and one from the 90's. It sounds like you have the first kit. The newer tool is much nicer.
  11. About 5 years ago I bought a resin body to build the Tom Sherlock "Psyco" Mustang drag car. At that time an aftermarket decal printer was making the decals for this car. Well, I didn't get them ordered and that printer went out of busness so here I am. Anyone know where I can buy them?
  12. Worse I ever owned, 92 Firebird Best was a 78 Jeep CJ-7
  13. Eric, I know I have one somewhere, but with over 400 kits stashed.........
  14. I know I have a Revell 69 Dodge Daytona around here somewhere. I may have to get another one. Does anyone know if it's current issue?
  15. Joe, I just thought of something. Jimmy Flintstone makes a $10.00 resin body of a 1960 "Sedan delivery" that is 1/25 scale and the Revell 60 Chevy hardtop kit parts (chassis and chrome) fit great. The roof looks like it was taken from the Street Fighter body, without he big glass skylight. It has an open hood and the underhood area is from the Revell kit so it's very stock like. It might be more o your liking.
  16. Back about 35 years ago when I was drag racing, there was a Nova (Chevy II) racer that showed up lettered "Duce Bag", with the appropriate graphics. At the request of the track management the doors were repainted before the next weekend. I'd bet it wouldn't be a problem today.
  17. Gee, I didn't mean to start something, just wanted to know if there was time o get in!
  18. Does this build have an end date?
  19. It's a Revell kit, last issued as the California Dune buggy. The old AMT Meyers Manx has been announced for reissue sometime soon.
  20. Foiling the 68 GTO bumper would work if they were the same shape, but you could develop your bodyworking skills converting one and then foiling it. The grilles would be tricky for the Tempest, but the open light GTO grilles shouldn't be too hard. I have one of those old MPC 1/25 68 GTO's, it's a survivor from my youth. It's had the dip in the purple pond and will be rebuilt as the "Woodward Ave." add car thanks to some Modelhaus resin parts. ( I couldn't build them stock back then)

  22. "The cat got dead" by Heywood Banks, a song of deep meaning, and hope of a better world for all.
  23. Pendleton here, just a few miles north east of Indianapolis.
  24. When I was six years old dad started bringing home the 59 and 60 Jo-Han Kits for a father and son thing. The kits were so simple I was soon putting them together myself, but without paint. I don't remember which one was first. Be nice to still have them.
