The first Elvis Cadillac was a 4 door bought for his mother, it was blue and he had it repainted pink. Elvis oned several Cadillacs.

This has potential, I'd like a second or reject to convert into a 73 GTO.

The slanted "B" pillars are wrong, and it looks kinda "chop topped" to me, it wont build stock without some work.

The wifes current ride is a '07 Chevy , thanks to bailouts and bankrupcys the next one will ba a Ford anyway.

At this time the only way to get red stripes is to do them yourself. It was then returned to duty. It has been stated that the entire chassis was replaced, but I can refute that myself. I've been under the car myself, and have the photos to back it up. Today Barris refers to his Bob Butts car as the number 2 car, because it is the second of the two cars he currently owns. It is not the fiberglass replica his shop built in 1966. And remember, Barris was not out in the shop himself, others did the actual work, and he is "pure Hollywood" in his story telling. Take everything he says with a grain of salt.

Althoe the "Number one" Barris Batmobile (the one built from the 1955 Ford motor co. Lincolin Futura show car) was painted gloss black for the TV show it was used for some "pre production" shots before it was finished while in flat black primer with WHITE stripes quickly air-brushed on. These photos are commonly refered to as the "primermobile" photos and may all be in black and white. The TV film crew sometimes covered the car with a powder to keep the glare down. This is why some beleave the car was flat or simi-gloss. After the TV show run the number one and its 3 fiberglass copies were flocked and refered to as "bat-fuzz". This was in the the early '70's. All of the cars have been repainted many times. The striping color is House of Color flourescent red, and never photographs the same way twice. Barris still owns the number one, and its siill in his showroom at his shop. He also has a second car, a fiberglass replica built by Bob Butts, that he tours with as the number one is just too valuable to take around. The three Barris shop fiberglass replicas (built on '66 Ford Galaxie chassis, and the number 5 car, (built by a fan in '66 from a '58 T-Bird but aquired by Barris) are all in private hands. And all of the cars on the list -- -- are made by Detroit's Big Three" So they have never heard of Fiat, Renualt, Triumph, Yugo, Simca, Mitsubishi, Hyundai,(dont defend them,I own one) should I go on ? I'd take ANYTHING the big three have built over any of this "stuff'.

My daily driver is a 92 Plymouth Gran Voyager, and no one wants to see that. I don't drive anything I like in the winter with all of the salt the DOT puts down around here. Heres one of my summer rides, a 65 VW with a 69 Meyers Manx body, I've owned it 40 years this march. Drove it to high school.

The Revell/Monogram 70 Road runner MIGHT have what you need. I dont know if the poverty caps are seperate parts or not.

My fear would be that with the curent goverment going after every cent they can, is that their fees would be much higher than what the model companys pay now.

My daughter is a single mother of two, a full time LPN at a hospital, in med school AND a firefighter / EMT-first responder. Our county says she can handle jury duty for three months too.

I guess it's all about how accurate or how much detail you want to have. The Wildcat chassis should drop right in, but is a simple piece with little detail. A revell 65 Impala would be more work but be much more detail.
