  1. Jeff. was that at Walmart recently?
  2. i heard a LONG time ago there was to be a 41 Chevy coupe and convertible, and the parts would switch with the 46/48 kits to open up a lot of options. Never heard any more.
  3. Interesting subject for sure, but those wheels aren't going to be fun.
  4. At least he shut things down rather then cash checks and ignore e-mails. Just wait for the return.
  5. Looks great! I was beginning to think there was a law requiring Shelbys to be painted red!
  6. I built one on an AMT 69 GTX, not much work at all. Even AMT put one under the old MPC 70 Super Bee when they re issued it.
  7. You say it's a favorite from you're youth, so I'd build it nice and clean out of the box just like you would have back then. (OK, much cleaner! LOL)
  8. And ditto what he said. Online can't compete when shipping is figured in.
  9. Thanks for the heads up, but I haven't found it yet. Looks like a great mag.
  10. Damage done by the postal service?
  11. With DST it doesn't get dark here until about 9:00PM so Top Fuel after dark may not happen, But I'd be one of the last ones out just in case!!
  12. I was last there the year Shirley Muldowney retired, Me, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter, four tickets at $75 each if I remember right. I haven't been back since. Put watching Top Fuel is something that MUST be seen!
  13. The speed city one is out of my budget, and the chrome parts aren't plated. smallblockdodge doesn't list them. It looks like I'll get the grilles and tailamp parts from modelhaus and go it alone.
  14. I think that smallblockdodge has a web site, I can't find him on ebay right now. A/FX is too risky to deal with.
  15. OK, I know its been posted here before but danged if I can remember who. Help an old guy out?
  16. I'm one of the lucky ones, I have a LHS 3 blocks from where I work a part time job. He gets all of the new stuff, and when shipping is added the online guys are within pennies on price. For resin I buy at shows where I can see the items myself.
  17. Is the one in the Linbdurg (ex AMT) 34 Ford pickup kit the right one?
  18. Yes, somebody cast them, I bought a set for mine a few years back. The problem is I can't remember who.....
  19. My dad bought a 55 Chevy 2 door 210 new and kept it 10 years, and I remember a LOT of inquires as to if it was for sale every time we were out in it.
  20. I thought the Green Hornet was modeled from a 1:1 car orignaly.
  21. Another great issue of the best car modeling magazine out there! And a big thank you to those who have busted rear to get it cought back up !
  22. I don't like diecast either, but I saw that article as a very good "how to" on weathering. I learned from it.
  23. Where, and how far from Indy is this show on the 30th?
  24. So, did anyone get any photos?
