  1. Had a great time!!!! Link to the show right below!!!! http://public.fotki.com/MCRUZ1/super-september-sho-1/
  2. Let's use the PM for this my friend....
  3. Thanks for all your replies my friends! Will, the overspray was done using my airbrush, I just slant the chassis sideways and just concentrate on hitting the edges, the overspray happens all by itself. It's a lot easier to control and do this step using the airbrush....
  4. Very cool Tommy!!!
  5. By the way, the poverty caps and wheels were handed to me and taken from the Revell '68 Charger, they do not come in this kit....
  6. No wipers my friend, if the client wants them, it will be an extra charge..... Kit does not bring them anyway, can you believe it?
  7. Finally got this one done today for a friend. Basic, out of box build with Model Master enamel Panther Pink paint. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  8. Looks good my friend, the hood looks a bit darker than the other areas, I don't know if it's your last coat but make sure you correct it, once you put the clear, it will really show. Nice project though!!
  9. Funny Skip, I just bought the new Revell Challenger yesterday, only I have too many other projects I want to complete first, maybe some day..... Thanks for the article!
  10. Very cool but I can't hold the urge of sanding it and putting a nice glossy coat of paint on it....
  11. A few more updates, slowly but surely, this thing is taking shape...... I have another body from the same kit, these are just some mockup shots.... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki My friend decided he wants steelies with dog dish hubcaps for this build.... Hosted on Fotki BMF and decaling almost done.... 12. Very cool, I am working on one of this at the moment for a friend, I guess I will have to pick up some tips from her...
  13. I like it already....

As usual my friend, great stuff, very creative!!!
  18. Okay, I guess it's about time to change to another condom brand......
  19. Thanks Mark, that was something that had me a little worried, all in all, at the end, I still might have the shade a little off, it's always hard to simulate it exactly as the real thing but I myself thought that using the gray primer was the better choice....
  20. Finally got a bit of time Saturday night to paint the body of the Challenger. I was originally going to use the Testor's lacquer paint to cover this model but opted to use Model Master's Panther Pink enamel paint to complete the painting phase on the body. With this option, all I have to do is wetsand a little and not have to worry about a clear coat, this paint has enought inherent gloss in it. It nedds a little wetsanding on the roof and hood to take care of a couple of little imperfections. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  21. Not many people attended the meeting today but it doesn't mean we didn't have fun....... For those of you that only think of Norm of Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland as a great resin caster, here are a few pictures of the terrific work he does when he decides to use a little paint and glue, he can compete with the best builders out there anytime!!! 22. UMMM! Good idea my friend, I didn't think about the Dart....
  23. Kevin, I always rescribe all my panel lines as soon as I take that model out of the box, it saves me a lot of time at the end. I will add a wash even before I add the primer and also after the primer is shot, by the time I shoot my color coats and my clear I am done with them. I am very picky when it comes to panel lines specially when the car is painted in lighter colors.
  24. We miss you too my friend, hope you can find some time to get together and talk plastic!!!
  25. Sorry, I think Steve Milberry has the idea I heard from Plumber right here on this thread, didn't take time out to read it properly. Sorry Steve....
