  1. Why are you all stealing my heat? Only 102 here yesterday, I'm thinking I got it good. G
  2. If it can/could be built stock or very close to stock, I'm in. G
  3. Now that's flippin' cool Jerred. G
  4. Shhhhhh, that's the small print................................ G
  5. Here ya go, take your pick. Regular $29.95, today only, due to your exhalted status, $32.50. G
  6. Actually meeting Pope John Paul in '99 was the highlight of my career. I'm a Jew, but hey, the Pope?, He's da man. G
  7. Here's "Probable Cause" as she sits today. MrsG suggested a dome over the mg ring, so that's next. I hand painted all the markings. G
  8. The Caddy has what the wise guys refer to as a fourbody trunk. BTW How many pall bearers at a mob funeral? One He closes the trunk. Bada Boom Bada Bing, thankya, thankya verra much, I'll be here all week. G
  9. Nope, as far as I was concerned His Holiness could do anything he wanted. What he wanted, was to meet Mark Macguire. So two detectives drove to his condo and brought him downtown to meet the Pope. Yes EOD is explosive ordnance disposal. I worked on the bobm squad or quite a few years, it was a blast! G
  10. Let's see, I've eaten breakfast with Carrot Top, and watched Monday Night Football with Penn and Teller. I always made a point of saying hello to Mike Tyson while performing club checks, he's too busy lately for the club scene now. Jimmy Buffet was in the office a few months ago, he obtained his gaming liscense for a new venture. Until he got married and moved I corresponded with Karl Logan of Man o' War. The band took off in Europe so he spends most his time there. I met Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush, and Pope John Paul while working. All were actually pretty nice to me. They had to be, I was the EOD coordinator. G
  11. Here's are the "Then" and "Now" shots. Then: "Now" G
  12. Chicago was one of the 12 tanks slated to land on Tarawa in the first wave. She made it to the shore line and was hit. She remains there to this day, kids and snorkelers use her as a diving board. Naturally I built this for my lovely wife who was born in the Windy City. I scratched the jerry can rack, and detailed the can lids. The tracks are aftermarket individual links, they have 6 pieces per link. Tedious is an understatement. G
  13. I want to watch what happens now. G
  14. She has good attention to detail. Nurture that, it will benefit her immensely later in life. G
  15. Nicely done! Love the shade. Looks good on your nails as well. G
  16. Funny guy, funny like a clown he is, haha. Let's just say what started on a 4x8 sheet of plywood became one entire end of an unfinished basement. My dad, my uncle, me and my first son, all worked on that layout. G
  17. You lie! A layout is never really finished. Don't ask how I know this............................ G
  18. You have good solid armor builds there. Your painting is exemplary, but you should at least try a pin wash on the next one. It really brings out the detail and isn't hard to do. G
  19. Very nice builds! Yes they are "gate guard" clean, but hey who says they have to be dirty? I love the PzIII on the flatcar. G
  20. Dude I feel your pain. I drank like a fish for years, but when I had my first child that was easily put aside. Drugs weren't in the picture at all, weird since I'm a child of the 70's. Smoking on the other hand, well kicking that took some time. Look at it this way you're two out of three as of now. That's ahead of the curve no matter how you cut it. Biggest thing for me? The expense, momma said I could spend the extra money on models, so I went ahead and quit. That and the threat of bodily harm. G
