  1. Demanding aren't we Jim! Well then here's a tease. The door decal was custom made for me. Unfortunately I cannot remember the guys name. He did an excellent job. The rest of the decals I made myself. The two different shade of blue in the decals were common on the real cars, so I didn't sweat it here. G
  2. I started this in 06, then boxed it up for the move across country. Today I decided to finish it! Here's where I'm at with the interior. This replicates the Chevrolets I drove back then. Shotgun goes in next after the rack I built is painted. G
  3. Well the waiting sure paid off. G
  4. Oh yes he can build that Edsel any old way he wants! The way he did is just fine as it is, I'm just expressing an opinion. You know what that means. G
  5. Nicely done! Harry's right about the decals. Me personally, I'd lose the flames. They take away from the overall finish. I think the car is built just right and doesn't need them. G
  6. Nice nice, real real nice nice. G
  7. Just received Cyberhobby's M4A4 Sherman "Firefly". Olive Drab and Black, indy link tracks, um um good. G
  8. Low 90's and severe t storm alert just hit. Flash flooding likely, thank goodness I live up on the mountain 900+ feet above the valley floor. Showgurlz are a runnin' for cover, nothing worse than wet feathers. Jim that date is firmly set on my calender! G
  9. Storming like all get out here in Sin City today! Upper 80's and smells like showgurlz! Gotta love Las Vegas. G
  10. Love it! G
  11. Zac those are the chrome inserts from the kit. They look very very good in there. That's the problem with this kit. There are some great features, it looks great when finished, yet the overall build is a female dog. G
  12. Nicely done! G
  13. Here she is with the remaining details added. I scratch built the antennae, and the exhaust tips. I used Pledge to polish the finish. Artsy shots. G
  14. Thanks Harry. If only Dodge had called this model the Monaco, or Coronet, or Lancer, or even Diplomat......................... Then too it reminds me of the Diplomat, it just looks like a cop car. G
  15. Thanks for the assist bro. G
  16. 105 here right now, heading to 107-109. It'll be 110 + during the work week. Naturally, activities this week require a suit and tie................................. G
  17. Black over Gunmetal? That's my favorite combo. Looking good! G
  18. I'm not known for being a huge car builder, but when I do, it's usually a cop car. Lindberg's Dodge Charger, Chimneyville decals, and a bit of scratchbuilding yielded this. G
  19. Finished with the exception of antennae! Here's a teaser, look in Under Glass for the final photos. G
  20. Work was a B yesterday, but my care package was waiting when I got home. THANK YOU my brother from another mother! Windshields in, final details going on, pics later. G
  21. Chinese companies are getting into the hobby in a HUGE way now. Dragon Models Limited (DML) is issuing new tooled kits of everything but autos at least every other month. We joke on the armor forum that the kits are so specific you can build nearly one of any tank, from anywhere, in the last 70 years. G 300 + now right? G
  22. I'm sorry Don, but 96 is a pleasent spring day here in the Mojave desert. Many many days where the needle is way over 100 lately, then it frikkin' RAINED on the fourth. Go figure. G
  23. Ditto on both! Mine was wife #3 though.......................................... G
  24. Jonathan if you only build autos, you wouldn't know about those things. I'm just making the point that even the almighty Tamiya has fallen back a bit. G
  25. Dont forget, they are not tying up tons of resource's and money releasing old kits over and over and over and over again Actually Jonathan they have. Armor models have mostly been re releases this year. Some are very old tools. They've been fairly stagnant as far as new armor goes here lately as well. They were truly the cutting edge for a decade, now new releases are few and far between. The last was a Israeli Sherman. The actual tank I consider fairly obscure with a short service life. That was a all new tool? Really Tamiya? Not sure about aircraft, as I don't build them, but I dont recall anything new there either. G
