  1. That was always on my mind as I stepped out of the aircraft into the blue. G
  2. The radio and siren box were cast in resin. I made a master from the parts in the 71 Ford kit. The mike is scratched from sprue. G
  3. Beautifully done! Bravo! G
  4. Here are the glamor shots. I used some Tamiya "Clear Smoke" to add depth to the grill lights and the spot light. They were cast as one piece in a mold I made from some old Yodel parts. G
  5. This ones complete! Glamor shots in "Under Glass" G
  6. Naw, I don't believe it. He photoshopped the real deal onto a bottlecap, right? He seriously did right? It's the model for real? ######, I give up. Freaking sensational man. G
  7. Oh yeah! My favorite, dry lakes racing. Looking good! G
  8. Finished the SLPD van this evening, final glamor shots tomorrow. I have a Camaro 90% complete as well. G
  9. Great looking build! The Coast Guard station, in St Louis of all places, had two of them. Nice nice vehicles. G
  10. Oh Virgil how right you are. I once made the mistake of attempting to tabulate the cost of a simple tank build. Yeah I gave up, no sense depressing myself. G
  11. Nice! G
  12. Oops sorry officer, the plates must be on my other car. Yeah, that's it the other car. G
  13. It's my curse. I spend half of my work week scrutinizing casino surveillance video. G
  14. G
  15. I was referring to the top of the right front fender. Look close just at the firewall. It appears in the close up as well as the rear 3/4 shot showing the interior. The radiator as well. G
  16. I scratched the simple bar lock we had on he rear doors. G
  17. Now that is really nice. G
  18. If minimalist means mold lines, nits in the paint, and panel line seperation, well I want no part of it. Cool color though. G
  19. Well wait no more! I have been working on this, but it seems like everything gets done in one weekend. The light bar was custom made for me almost 20 years ago. I bought 20 of them back then. They are still used! G A few more. G
  20. All I know is the darn cars were constantly needing to be jump started. That and Jonathan is constantly poking fun at my ahem, "advanced age". G
  21. Probably not, they were barely sufficient for a car with no equipment at all. Oh, and correction, the '79 had the "variable venturi" carburetor. G
