  1. Ya das ist ein glockenspiel. Nicht mehr fingerpokken und mitten grabben meine freunde. G
  2. Corey I owned a '04 Grand Marquis and then my Town Car. Both have been the best experience I ever had with automobiles. I have driven at least six different iterations of the Crown Vic in my 33 years and was never disappointed in one of them except the '79 LTD. That year the car had the old Rochester Quadra Jet with the sildes instead of a butterfly. After a year or so the wear and tear was so bad the car wouldn't go over 65. Downhill, with a tail wind. '85 saw the debut of the bean counters, so we got traffic cars with, if I remember correctly, 65 watt alternators. It wouldn't charge the car if you were parked with the roof lights on. Remember these were TRAFFIC cars, all they do is sit with the red lights on. G
  3. My current DD, Lincoln Town Car, ceased production last year. I bought the thing new in '05 and am still debating what to replace it with, if anything. rare, no, collectible, maybe, best car I ever had? Yes. I still ride a BMW R100 RT, the last year for the airhead motor. I refuse to part with that bike. G
  4. I have pre ordered two. After waiting 12 years since the initial announcement, I am glad we got one. (Period) G
  5. As long as Revell keeps releasing new stuff, I don't care what show they attend. I have relatives in the Cleveland PD who's opinions I trust, that's why I moved west............................ There is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame though...... G
  6. Mike I'm taking the wheelcovers from my Modelhaus '84 Impala and combining those with the kit wheels and tires. The Modelhaus bits are a nice vintage set of chrome wheelcovers close to what the real deal had. Jonathan I have built so many 9C1 whales it would be a shame to NOT use the seats and wheel! These came from the SS I converted with GTO interior parts. G
  7. I find it odd that some "big city" PD's allow the fleet to become so ratty looking. Yes the cars can and do take a beating, but we were held accountable for the slightest ding. That and we repaired the cars on a regular basis. Don't even mention a missing hub cap or wheel cover ! G PS - "Whiteout" works great on white cars...........just sayin'.............
  8. You know I wondered once why I never saw a MSP Charger with that old roof beacon. Come to think of it I bet that is a heavy beast of a light. I like the Trenton Charger, does it park in the nonexistent city garage? G
  9. Thank You All! This one is coming along nicely. I have "deplated" the rear bumper and am building the step we used from treadplate. G
  10. You did a good job on what is one of the worst fitting kits I ever attempted to build. Love BRG! G
  11. I've been working on this bit by bit. Chassis is complete and I just finished the interior. I had to make another mold to cast the radio and siren box, so that delayed the project for a while. G
  12. Here's the other CHP Charger. G
  13. Steve, it sat for a bit as I became quite disgusted with the kit. I finished the the B/W Dodge, and that gave me the inspiration to finish. I have yet to photograph the finished build so I will do that post haste! Brian, two days after I took the last photos I realized I used the wrong CA exempt plates. I even have a bunch of current plates sitting in my decal box. Danno we will have to eat, so any meal will do! G
  14. Man I'm impressed, there are some fine fine builds here. Keep 'em coming folks. G
  15. My recent build thread of the Lindbergh Dodge copcar produced a few stellar builds in response. So without further adeiu post your Dodges. G
  16. Yes those are all good looking builds. We need to start a "Show us your Dodge Cop Cars" thread.............. Danno the day off is in the works............................ G
  17. I like that all white Charger. Slick build there my man. All white you say? This one perchance? G
  18. I always call it the A38 package, and 9C1 when I refer to Chevys. Old habits I'd say. I got stopped by one of these outside Lancaster one morning. I was really torn between checking out the car or the cutie driving it. Darn CHP gets the honeys.............. G
  19. Nicely done young Jedi, nicely done. G
  20. I held my breath when I saw this. It got worse as I read. Thank Goodness everyone's ok. G
  21. No, no freaking way that's a model! You shrunk the real car with Photoshop trickery! G
  22. Agent G
