  3. Oh back in the day when we were young and wild............................. Ouhhh Rahh! G
  4. I'm not really sure but I might still be wanted in San Diego. Something about "Marines and Sailors and a bar, oh my!" Oh and Jonathan I have access to elevator surveillance as well...................................... Just sayin'. G
  5. Thank goodness for the revitalization of down town! All those places were Vegas back in the day and you gotta love them. Most are slowly being rehabbed and it's great to see. The Mirage has the volcano BTW Doc I gotta tell ya, give it a few years and come on back. G
  6. I found a beading wire called "Tiger Tail". It's a fine braided wire with a clear plastic coating. I like it for fuel lines and such. G
  7. Ya'll been catchin' heck weather wise. Rain, rain and more rain combined with tornadoes makes one wonder about 12/21/12 don't it? Goodness it even rained here one night. G
  8. It's coming back full circle again Doc. The place reinvents itself every few years and we are headed back to the true Las Vegas, Sin City and all that! SHOWGIRLS! There are roughly 1/4 million slots in the state, and less that 2% are the old style anymore. While it takes away from the casino mystique, it really helped the enforcement folks (me). Hundreds of old school slot cheating methods were rendered useless nearly overnight. Now you have to be a computer programmer to steal. I cannot understand why folks with minor children continually make this the end destination for a family trip. There is practically nothing a kid under 21 can do in a casino except walk to the food court. Yes there are a lot of good tourism spots in and around the town. I get that, my daughter's only 18, but to just come here with small children makes no sense. G
  9. Modelhaus has a resin 4dr, great copcar conversion. Expensive but the quality is worth it. G
  10. Funny guy hahahahahah That plate got me in more trouble because of the jokers I worked with. I'm in Illinois, riding the river road, stopped at a light. Big old Dodge smelling like unmarked car pulls along side and the window drops. Uniformed occupant yells out " OK smartazz what's the plate supposed to read?" As he's running it, I boogie when the light goes green wondering what the issue is. He doesn't stop me and I continue home to find one of my, or all of my, stars taped over the R and replaced it with a Y. Funny hahahahah. Look at the Missouri plate and you'll see the wavy lines representing the river under the word Missouri at the top of the plate. Well someone found that there is a gay pride decal specifically produced to cover those wavy lines. Guess who had one on his bike? Guess who didn't find it for a week? That's a clue detective......................... I'm in uniform, riding home. stopped at a light. A car full of young gents is behind me honking and waving. Very friendly they were. One even yells out how proud of me he is that I could be so open, in uniform at that. Huh? Then I find the decal. Now that was some funny sheist there, I don't care who you are. Of course my best friend, she's "family" herself, told me that had I played my cards right I coud have gotten dinner and drinks for sure. Why didn't I think of that? G
  11. Nah, not 'til the end of the month unfortunately. When I lived in St Louis I always attended the Kirkwood show, rain, shine or divorce LOL!
  12. I'm with Rich on this one as well. The highest praise I ever received is when a forum member commented on a '32 5 window I built. He said it looked like a vehicle that could actually be driven safely. 'Nuff said. G
  13. Oh ok! Thank You! I'll be back there this May so I'll stop by. G
  14. I am an "Agent" of the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Enforcement Division, and my last name is Gray, ergo AgentG. I am also a huge MiB fan. G
  15. Oh how I yearn for some extended controls on those long hauls. I cannot get my feet out around those cylinder heads to use highway pegs at all. It's hard to tell but the fairing lower prevents much movement. What I can do is rest my heels on top of the crash bars. It gets a bit warm, but that's why we wear boots. G
  16. Davy just recently attended the Barret Jackson auction. One of the Monkeymobile clones was on the block. G
  17. Joshua CRM is owned by a guy named Chris Merseal. He and his wife take turns behind the counter. It's at Brannon and Eichelberger. Billy, I thought Chekered Flag closed? I was back in the 'Lou last November and went by there, my daughter lives nearby. The place was vacant. G
  18. If you are smart you will be visiting CRM Hobbies in south St. Louis. G
  19. Interesting bike Virgil! I like mine stock. I sort of grew up around bikes. Here's grandpa and grandma ca 1920. G
  20. I don't make a living in the field, I support it. G
  21. We had two Hobby Towns, the one in Henderson closed, the other moved and is doing well. Plenty of stock, and yes the paint racks look similar. All of our LHS have to focus on RC related items as that is huge out here. There is one that is 65% RC, but has a great model aisle. You can imagine the RC flyer or off roader smiling while looking at the vast expanses of ...........................nothing. Now, that said, Henderson Hobbies, in old town Henderson is the bomb. If you can tolerate the cranky old guy who runs the joint! He is a life long car modeler and the shelves reflect that. Armor isn't bad, and airplanes he has a lot of. G
  22. Thank you Justin! Hugh, that's just friggin' COOL! Rob I wanna see the diorama finished, that's what I'm talking about!. G
