  1. Oh yes, thinking of the good Doctor made me quite nostalgic. G
  2. Dragon M4A2, Panda Plastics Tracks, Bronco tracks for the add on armor. Tamiya paint. G
  3. That's the problem here in Vegas, not enough water....................................... G
  4. I got home late Saturday evening, and called out at 4am Sunday, so bench time was nill. I did finish this one today, it took an hour which was all the time I had. G
  5. The more I look at that pic, I'm thinking neutral gray. Use MM Neutral Gray, then gloss coat, or maybe even semi gloss. Just my 2 cents. G
  6. What color will you be using for the overall gray finish? G
  7. Yup, coffee, required on daywatch for sure. Folks knew not to speak or even enter my office before a pot was emptied. Only desk men, and very brave watch commanders could approach. G
  8. Thank You Glenn ! I in no way want to detract from telethons or their importance to those special folk who truly need their benefits. Yet this moron qualifies as special in his own unique way. I really think he may be related to my last wife, just sayin'......................................... G
  9. I'm calling this 99% finished. I have to take the masks off the headlights, and add some stowage, then she'll be complete. I really like the way this came out. The indy link tracks look great. I'll use these again for sure. G
  10. Why? A sense of entitlement. We see this all the time here, Lambo's perched on lawns, Ferrari's on fences, Maserati's in medians (upside down), Beemer's on berms. That jugghead in SF just drove around cones, why?, he's special, that's why. Dumbazz, he's so special he needs his own telethon. G
  11. Welcome! Pro's no, been at it for a while, yes. G
  12. Scrapple.............yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm Back on topic, here's one for inspiration. This was built from the spares box, with a few scratch built parts. It's a dry lakes car from the '40's. Tonneau cover is masking tape. G
  13. Look for "embossing powder" in the scrapbooking isles. Your $$ will go farther than ordering it from a hobby aftermarket company online. G
  14. Your post was fine, right on the money. I'm right there with you. Jeez, like I said, TEN guys gone since October? About half in my age group? Makes ya think don't it? G
  15. Good looking stuff everyone. Virgil you never fail to impress. I promise to finish mine this weekend. A commitment to another forum and family issues have kept me away from the truck. The Sherman is finished, I just need to flat coat it, and I'll be assembling my TZH recon truck. Hey Virg, e mail coming your way. G
  16. Whitney who? Semper Fi The St.Louis PD's Veterans Assn. (retired cops) has lost ten members since October. One active duty copper passed from cancer, he was 43 and a stud of a man. You know you're getting old when your FTO, first watch commander, first Captain, and Deputy Chief of Detectives are all gone. Hell, my best partner has been gone since '95. G
  17. Ditto Glenn's comment. DE in the early 70's provided large Pontiac Bonnevilles with only a brake pedal on the passenger side. G
  18. Where's the "Like" button? Good job young man. G
  19. All that and a "Holy ####" award as well. This is an epic build. Thanks for sharing. G
  20. Ive had that happen as well. One set on a build shrunk so badly they split around the rim. I've also had hollow tires collapse over the years. Some looked melted, some just looked like they went flat. G
