  3. Snuck in on me didja? Thanks Harry. G
  4. Thank you all! Danno I've been accused of being a a lot of things, but multicultural is a first! George as of now nothing is in his hand. It will be a battleaxe though when the paint dries. This is the Polar Lights repop retooled to represent the horseman in the '99 Tim Burton movie. G
  5. I needed to spread this out a bit. Pumpkins were airbrushed three colors of Tamiya, Orange, Red and Yellow. Detail painting has commenced. G
  6. Here's what I have been working on recently. I started this in keeping with the mood of season. This is the ancient Polar Lights kit that has been lying untouched for at least 10 years. The fit was so bad the horse and rider are at least 30% styrene rod and putty. I believe this was a snap kit in it's first iteration. The kit cape and cowl were huge thick moldings that I just didn't like. A few minutes with a wood dowel and some pie tin aluminum gave me a viable alternative. G
  7. Carl that car isn't even broken in yet! G
  8. The color looks good. Sorry about the issues but.....thats why it's called....................camoflage! G
  9. Counting cards is not against any law in Nevada. You will only be asked to leave the casino. Don't try it next door at another property, they already know about you before you get there. Bending cards, marking cards, switching cards etc. is a crime. G
  10. Love it! That color shot is of an early war formation. If you look close you can see where they painted over the red circle inside the white star. Look again and you can see the red/white rudder stripes were paintaed over as well, especially on #8 in the foreground. That period, right around Midway, makes the planes two toned, intermediate blue over pale gray. G
  11. Retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department as a Sergeant (28 years total), moved west and began a new career. I am currently an enforcement agent of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. I investigate crimes that take place in casinos. My specialty, if it can be called that, is computer fraud and embezzlement. G
  12. Very sharp. G
  13. What he said ^ Good start to the build. G
  14. I got a line on a '10 Lincoln Town Car today, 10,000+ miles, cherry. Continental Edition, Champagne Gold, Buff leather. Working the deal as we speak..................... Jonathan you going to bring that VW to Modelzona this weekend? hinthinthint G
  15. I can see that in Dunkelgrau, with staff pennants on the front fenders ......................... G
  16. Now that is sexy. I'll take one, shaken not stirred............................. G
  17. Outstanding. G
  18. Revells original tool Caprice police/taxi/firechief car. It represents the 91-92 model of the whale. It has a great radio/siren/radar set up stock wheel covers and good accurate detailing. G
  19. That's why I always head to Phoenix. The rules are the rules, no hidden meanings or agendas. That and I am always armed...................... G
  20. What he said! LOL Sorry for the delay, My pain meds put me out early last night. What Dale said pretty much sums it up for me as well. That limiter allows me to get into detail painting a heck of a lot easier. Remember I'm primarily a armor/figure modeler so intricate patterns, fine lines and lots of shading are the norm. Ditto the color cup. I will say this though, I have had the 155 for 15 years or so. Learning to paint a basic double action AB is is invaluable. The muscle memory involved with trigger control is key. It was super easy to adapt to the Talon after that. Sounds like I'm teaching basic firearms, LOL. G
