  5. Honestly, I first thought this was a 1:1 reference photo. David G.
  6. Years ago in NE Ohio we called them "goats" "mules" or "dogs" and they would usually have cutting torches or makeshift hoists grafted on to them. Sounds like it could be a fun project- I'll have to see if I can find some time to build something. David G.
  7. Very cool- nicely done. David G.

    Nicely done! David G.
  11. Wow, how things have changed. I remember back in the 60s and 70s drive in movie screens were at least four or five times larger than that one. Of course they're all gone now. David G.
  12. Your creations tend to take on a life of their own. It's fun to watch them grow. David G.
  13. Wow! That's potentially much more dangerous than waiting for the green light to make a right turn. Not something I would try. David G.

    Very well done! David G.
  18. Excellent progress! I'm glad you're aware of the roller situation. David G.
  19. Good work on the casket and the deck. One suggestion if I may. There seems to be too much roller sticking out of the tops of the roller guides. There will usually be a little less than half of the roller above the deck. If you like, I can snap some photos of the deck in my new Lincoln Hearse for reference. David G.
  20. Okey-dokey. David G.
  21. Yup, you're right. I should support the rudeness of others and reward inconsiderate behavior. It'll make the world a better place. David G.
  22. It's just the other side of the coin. David G.
  23. I do? I'm not though- I believe in following the rules. One of the rules I try my best to follow is the one that says we should treat other humans with courtesy and respect. It seems to me that as time goes by, there are fewer and fewer people out there who follow this rule, or even know that such a rule exists. They seem to believe that the rest of the world just needs to move out of their way and let them by. When one of these people is acting like he's going to use his car to push mine through the intersection so he can make a right turn, I'll take my time and wait for the light to change. I don't see myself as the "clueless" one in that encounter. I think I'm more aware party in the situation. David G.
