  1. Thanks. I grew up in the Youngstown area and I remember seeing all manner of makeshift repairs folks used to keep their cars together as they slowly rusted away. I had more than my share of rust buckets too. David G. Thanks everyone for the kind comments. David G.
  2. I've been working on this for a few months, and now it's done. Complete with PA plates and road grit. A Pennsylvania car from this era would have likely had snow tires on it at some point in its life. I was able to find some at the Desert Scale Classic last week. With the snow tires comes the road grit. It's my first attempt at painting "dirt" with my airbrush. PA plates and snow tires, a natural combination. Thanks for looking and (always) feel free to comment. David G.
  3. Nice collection, thanks for sharing. David G.

  5. I use wire from twist ties that come in boxes of trash bags for fuel and brake lines. Here's a fuel line made from that wire. David G.

  14. Cato, This is a very unusual project and many- most of us will never have the opportunity see one of these kits, let alone build one. Given that, I believe that this thread makes an important contribution to this forum and the hobby as a whole. So, keep on posting! David G.

  22. Danno, Soooo... yes and no? Even if I did enter it, it wouldn't be without a full disclosure. I wouldn't attempt to take credit for any one else's work. Even if that someone else was a computer operated spray rig. But as you said, an interesting question, which is why I posed it. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I have a few other possible entries, I've not quite decided. Thanks, David G.
