  1. Thank you all for your kind comments. I wasn't too happy with the way it turned out; I wasn't even sure I wanted to post any photos. I'm now glad that I did. Thanks again, David G.

  5. They reduce the amount of plastic in the water bottles we buy to the point where they are nothing more than screw-top bags and produce more pill bottles for fewer pills. Once again, we make the sacrifice- not for the environment, but for big business. David G.
  6. Smoooth and deadly! David G.
  7. It's a nice mix of styles that work well together- and even the tires are SHINY. David G.

  10. Thanks. I grew up in the Youngstown area and I remember seeing all manner of makeshift repairs folks used to keep their cars together as they slowly rusted away. I had more than my share of rust buckets too. David G. Thanks everyone for the kind comments. David G.
  11. I've been working on this for a few months, and now it's done. Complete with PA plates and road grit. A Pennsylvania car from this era would have likely had snow tires on it at some point in its life. I was able to find some at the Desert Scale Classic last week. With the snow tires comes the road grit. It's my first attempt at painting "dirt" with my airbrush. PA plates and snow tires, a natural combination. Thanks for looking and (always) feel free to comment. David G.
  12. Nice collection, thanks for sharing. David G.
  13. Excellent work! I have the Tumbler in my stash. Maybe I'll put it on short list to build. David G.
  14. I use wire from twist ties that come in boxes of trash bags for fuel and brake lines. Here's a fuel line made from that wire. David G.
  15. Spectacular work! David G.

  23. Cato, This is a very unusual project and many- most of us will never have the opportunity see one of these kits, let alone build one. Given that, I believe that this thread makes an important contribution to this forum and the hobby as a whole. So, keep on posting! David G.
